Personally, I have always enjoyed Kendricks' latest work. He grows and matures in his music and with his audience, and that's not an easy thing to accomplish. I especially respected him for taking that 5-year break. He just had kids and maybe staying at home was a great idea.

The only thing that was done was Cole/Drake gave their consent to release their verses. (I know Drake went in and re-recorded his verse with Sexy Red... the point still stands)
