Should the Canucks be concerned with Pettersson's game heading into next season?

No I’m not worried about Petey. He said he was playing with a bad knee so now we know.

Yes, he should drive play. But, it doesn't help when his linemates are 3rd or 4th liners, where they can't finish. The Coach is also at fault as well. Rick Tocchet also has to set him up for success.

If anything the team should be hopeful because he’s gonna be pissed off and wanting to prove all the media doubters wrong. EP40 has that dog in him, he just needs to find it again

Why didn't they rest him? Why did he get called out as a passenger? Hope he heals fast.

Because the "injury" was never a real "injury". This is just cover PR. I've had tendonitis in my knee, badly. There''s zero chance I could play an NHL hockey game and not worsen it to the point of debilitation. We're supposed to believe this guy played half a season then playoffs without missing a single game to rest it? BS. If this was real (or not heavily exaggerated) he would have sat game 82.

TSN is turning into a gossip column. Explosive comments? He totally put it on himself and only when directly asked he admitted to a nagging knee problem that needs rest.

News flash! Skating and playing on a knee with increasing pain and inflammation tends to negatively effect your entire game. Nobody wants to win more than "Pettersson", he's proven that his entire career and has the hardware and receipts to prove it.
