There's so much for me to say about this video!
1- Love the improvement to the shelves. More people need to see this, because it's a quick and simple modification that looks good AND adds strength. The shelves in my workshop are done the same way, someday the panty will also lol.
2- Hot water, heater... My biggest pet peeve about myself, because I can never break the habit no matter how hard I try. I'm told it's a common mistake, but I'm the only one I know who does it. Its great to hear someone else do it lol.
3- Poison ivy. If there's suspected contact, before there's a rash. Blue dawn dish soap and water, scrub the area a couple times with a wash cloth or whatever like you're trying to get car grime off your hands. It works amazingly well.
For proof to my wife and mother, I bare hand ripped out some at my mom's place and then scrubbed with dawn within an hour or so and never got a rash. Poison ivy usually kicks my butt, bad.
Definitely teach your kids to know the "leaves of three, let it be" rule and to recognize what poison ivy looks like. Its the gift that keeps on giving lol
