Power is out AGAIN after four days without it a month ago. Centerpoint needs to fix their infrastructure!!!!
Florida worst 2004 no power 3 months nightmare at home. All state worthless. Never financially recover . Must plan ahead be responsible for pets kids self wildlife...prayers Texas safe.
I bought sidekick&generator on pmts. Freeze 8 gallons water to keep frig cold but precook a week of good easy eat foods into ice chests another drinks. 4 evacuation carryon bags k9 cats me. After 2004-- 4 hurricanes every 2 weeks! I trust no-one!

I demanded a electric engineer come at my electric Co. Cost...video taped check ground on transformers...wrong & replaced them! And lines to multiple homes years of surges ignored got fixed before Irma 186mph wind hit my home never lost power. Lost all papaya trees avacado trees due to 28" flooded 4 months.
Trust no one. Have plan A and B and X !!
Animal shelter Fayette county Harvey never lost power nor flooded ...planned ahead!!!
Sad when you look at this cat 1 compared to the cat 4 or 5 on the islands. Cant believe the us is so not prepared. The island people say it happens about every 20 year's and pretty much on target. They had a lot of damage but not 1 person was hurt and didn't here about any crazy resques.
In my opinion the cat means nothing. Look at Harvey. That’s made landfall in Houston as a tropical storm
