In the 4 Years I've owned the Nissan Dayz, I've never experienced such issues even though I've treated it quite harshly on many speed breakers and pot holes. I Recommend that you buy the car from an authentic dealer rather than buying them from 2nd class dealers at a reduced price

It's not a problem for someone who is just watching a UA-cam video but a lot of stress for someone who is planning to buy one or worse given deposit (biyana) In my case It's a 2014 dayz mid line varient with eco. 30K Kilometers driven and checked by my trusted mechanic that it's ok. But now this has caused a lot of stress for me. So you're saying you never had such issue. Maybe then it is different from car to car. ( I noticed he didn't mention his driving style , aggressive or laid back ) Alhamdulillah i never drive aggressively (I'm known for driving like old persons) and i don't expect high performance when buying a car. I'd appreciate your honest remarks on this car wether this problem is destined to happen or won't if you don't abuse the car.

I went Karachi to Lahore 2 times by this car with my family on Lahore motorway I had face first time this problem you are talking about . . But it totally disappeared within 5 mint after I turn off the vehicle and start it again . . When on my way to Karachi I had received no issue with it . . This is the problem of gear oil leakage it's not the electrician problem it's the gear box problem of the car cause in that situation when the car speed slow down the acceleration working fine but due to lack of gear the car slow down. . Only change the gear oil and the gear box which is approximately 13thousand rupees in Karachi. .
I have ek custom 2013 .I lives in faisalabad.I faced same issue but their was no mechanic who could resolve this issue .I changed both oxygen sensors and both catalytic converter , plugs and coils but car was still unfit. One day i went to a new computerise workshop (galaxy motors faisalabad) mechanic on this workshop changed the fuel pump and filter of my car and check engine light , missing , lesspick and average problems . Now my car is super fit average 15-21.
we have same model but Alhamdolillah no such issue so far. I recently went to sukkur from karachi and it performed excellent even at 135 kms/hr no vibration was result and it was smooth and calm

I'm using mitsubishi ek wagon since last six years and never faced this issue. I only faced pickup issue which got resolved after catalytic converter cleaning.
Sudden break or slow down speed because of the safety sensor comes with the car. If any thing comes in front of the car. This car sensor responds this is the safety feature not the problem.

NEVER CHANGE THAT ENGINE!!! What are the codes you are getting? Is it happening with AC or without? If your oxygen sensor is getting bad again and again than you have a wire short. Track back from the oxygen sensor and you will be able to find it
Oxygen sensor ka code ata hai. I was willing to experiment with a lot of things. But the thing is Iqbal payara sahab nay hi hath utha diye along with Ustad Ghafora. To ab khud say experiment ka dil nahi.

The problen described in this video is not with all Nissan Dayz.. this is specific to the car shown in the video. Its just bad luck that you got such a car.

Why dont you check it out with the car makers, send them full details of your car online and ask them to give you a trouble shoot and possible reason for this fault. Japanese are very professional and am sure they will guide you with a possible sollution to this issue. Pls do share your experience once you get any repky from tge Manufacturers

salsa bhai...I am your fan from UK.i think you must get checked the electronic switch which changes the gears.i had this problem with my car( not Nissan DayZ) few years back.it was sorted by changing that switch.when car looses pick up this switch leaves the car in higher gears...

Assalam O Alaikum WRA, i just wanted to share one-thing here that the car has no problem at all. Its a nice & good car. I have been driving here in Japan and i have never come across any issue like this. Imagine if this problem occurs in Japan i will get a lucky chance to sue Nissan, i wish i could. There is 100% problem with Pakistani Fuel. You drive it on high Octane and also change the Petrol pump you often go to. See some reliable Petrol Pump in your area. That’s my humble advise If even then if it doesn’t go then you cannot blame the car because its a Japanese Brand. There must be problem at Pakistan end

And the problem is even the greatest minds(electricians) in this field are unable to sort the issue. I am sure iska koi hal to hoga. Jesay Mei 15000rs aur waqt bayhisab laga kar thuk hoon. According to my experience generally the average of Nissan Dayz comes out to be a little less than other 660cc's. Secondly, it depends a lot on how you drive it and what is the condition of the engine(plugs +engine oil+air filter). If we assume engine is sound, then it depends on how you drive. Normal pao Kay sath eco pay chalain. Jab bilkul ruki ho, uskay baad pick ahaista say lain. Kus Kay pick mat lain. If check light is not showing, to phir tention na lain.

I had the same problem with wagon r my mechanic tried changing fuel pump throttle body also air flow sensor but nothing worked. It got solved by changing break switch.

Nissan uses JATCO CVT and it's very unreliable transmission , All dayz let alone all Nissan and Mitsubishi have pick up and gear change issues , they are not smooth as Toyota , it's a Manufacturing fault in Transmission so everyone don't waste your money fixing the car , drive it the way it is , except this problem it's a very good car

The main problem with the ECU. Update the ECU or change it, hopefully inshallah resolve the issue.

Aap ne halki quality ka air filter lagaya hoga. There is video on youtube showing that issue is with poor quality air filters

i have nissan dayz automatic transmission and facing the same issue
I had similar issue with with VITZ, and in the end it was ECU Card problem. I changed my ECU then it was solved.

There is 100% problem with Pakistani Fuel. You drive it on high Octane and also change the Petrol pump you often go to. See some reliable Petrol Pump in your area. That’s my humble advise
If even then if it doesn’t go then you cannot blame the car because its a Japanese Brand. There must be problem at Pakistan end

You have a valid point sir. The thing is this issue is rare, but does come while driving the car in Pakistan. And the problem is even the greatest minds(electricians) in this field are unable to sort the issue.
I am sure iska koi hal to hoga. Jesay Mei 15000rs aur waqt bayhisab laga kar thuk hoon. Koi hal to hoga. But I don't want to do further experiments after having a word with Iqbal Electrician.

But now this has caused a lot of stress for me.

Alhamdulillah i never drive aggressively (I'm known for driving like old persons) and i don't expect high performance when buying a car.
I'd appreciate your honest remarks on this car wether this problem is destined to happen or won't if you don't abuse the car.

Hey bro i just want to ask you about its fuel average ..Firstly what is its normal routine average?? And if it is not according to normal then what is the issue with average..? My dayz is giving me an average of just 12-13 max in city .. Kindly help and suggest..!
According to my experience generally the average of Nissan Dayz comes out to be a little less than other 660cc's.
Secondly, it depends a lot on how you drive it and what is the condition of the engine(plugs +engine oil+air filter).
If we assume engine is sound, then it depends on how you drive. Normal pao Kay sath eco pay chalain. Jab bilkul ruki ho, uskay baad pick ahaista say lain. Kus Kay pick mat lain.
If check light is not showing, to phir tention na lain.

Nissan DayZ us the real deal,I drive it in Zimbabwe, Everything is in mint condition,No issues no problems.Suoer comfortable.
I had the same problem with wagon r my mechanic tried changing fuel pump throttle body also air flow sensor but nothing worked. It got solved by changing break switch.
It is simply amazing how the same issue is resolved by different solutions looking at the different comments. Thank you so much for the insight. Jazak Allah khair

Achi nissan dayz achi hai. Aur jis mei masla ajaye, usay tauba tauba.
Eik am insan jisko itna nani pata usko Nissan Dayz pori tasali kar kay laini chahye.
Nissan uses JATCO CVT and it's very unreliable transmission , All dayz let alone all Nissan and Mitsubishi have pick up and gear change issues , they are not smooth as Toyota , it's a Manufacturing fault in Transmission so everyone don't waste your money fixing the car , drive it the way it is , except this problem it's a very good car
