Yes sir! I had bmore wide open! They was like yoooo! what and who is that. I said its my friends from Washington DC... the sound is Go Go. That SNL record came after the drop the bomb album. I had all of them. TROUBLE was on fire.
@@gogojunkie2792 i remember drop the bomb from an 8 track I believe or maybe hey fellas. Either way, ain't nothing like Trouble Funk man. And was sampled a few times in some of the biggest hip hop songs made but TF never comes up
Trouble Funk one of the best Go Go bands if not the best. They made Go Go hits that still crank till this day and they're very creative ( remember when they used to start their show with the theme from andy griffin show). I'm feeling that S.E. crank. Thank you Trouble Funk !!!
I'm a trouble funk fan since the 80s this was my band I remember when my mom and dad use to call me Mr trouble funk but after all of these years I'm shocked of how there cranking ❤🎉😅 horns are still tight as ever
I remember I was little and my guy cousins was ironing their clothes, getting ready for the go-go. I used to be like "Where yall going?" And they would tell me they are going out. I'll say "Where?" "The go-go. Get out our room!!" Boy they were creasing those jeans and spraying the clothes & had all the wicker chair photos & mad girls pics on their wall 😂😂😂😂😂
as far as musicianship and showmanship, the ONLY go-go band that was on Trouble Funk’s level was Chuck Brown and his Soul Searchers. props to ALL of the go-go bands, but Trouble was IT for me. r.i.p. to Robert “Syke Dyke” Reed.
