Now people are free to lead life as they wish.The Sabha passed the over ₹1.18 lakh crore budget for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for 2023-24 amid din with 35% capital expenditure at ₹41,491 crore to be spent on development and infrastructure. Rs 1.18 lakh crore for fiscal 2024-25. Modi wants to serve kashmir.

Thanks to Indian Government for starting train journey in Kashmir. Seriously it was really hectic to do car journey in Kashmir. At least we can visit Kashmir in train with comfort. Hopefully.

Iam from Bengaluru...I visited Kashmir in 2018...visited gulmarg...pehalgam...sonmarg...it was fantabulous....but couldn't find snow...my little daughter was disappointed..I wish one day I will be able to travel by train to kashmir...hope my dream will be fulfilled... likewise now you can travel by train from Kashmir to Kanyakumari...
Perhaps you have visited during summer that's why you couldn't find snow then
we travelled in May 2022 and it was very hot so even the snow line at Gulmarg was way above normal and travelling to Kashmir in Winter by road is not an easy task
so when these trains start running regularly, the tourists can come to Jammu by train /Air and then take this train and experience Kashmir in all its snowy glory in a very safe manner.
travelling via train in the snow is much safer compared to roads.
You can visit rohtank in Himachal you can find snow any time there
Jan-end and Feb-end are the best time to visit for the highest probability of snow in the Himalayan states, including J&K.

Watching from Canada. I lived in Srinagar from 1976 to 79. My school friends always asked me how a train looked like. I am happy to see now there is train service from Jammu to Srinagar. I wish I can one day visit India, take a train from Jammu to Srinagar and meet my school friends.
