One thing worth mentioning - if you're driving an older car and you were planning on replacing the shocks/struts, looks like entry-level coilovers can often be a cheaper alternative to OEM replacement while also offering more customizability than OEM! Also gonna second that comment about other suspension parts like sway bars, control arms, and bushings; not all cars have good options for aftermarket parts for these and I've heard it's good to replace some of these parts that can get worn over time. A video on that would be dope!
Installed Tein Flex Z coilovers on my 2011 Honda Accord a couple months ago and I am literally in LOVE. Car handles so nice around corners and fitment is on point! (For an Accord at least 😂😂)
The only coilovers i had on my car are bcracing br series and i tried few cars with different brand coilovers and i just love my bcracing coilovers even more 😍😍😍
Is there a general lack of love for lifts? I was wondering what’s the best setup for an entry-level rallycross lift. I hope we could see more of lift springs vs. lift spacers debates in the future. I can’t afford gravel spec coils for now and it’s hard to find resources out there for entry level rally suspension setup.
If you're in the UK and want a top end coilover check out Nitron, its pretty expensive but the quality is outstanding..... Plus they do bike shocks and springs if you're a 2 wheelie boi
I have eibach springs on my 2006 jeep grand Cherokee and love them. Had eibach spring then install Raceland coilovers on my 2005 Hyundai Tiburon, just bought air ride system can't wait to install them.
i'm using a set of tein flex A on my RB1 odyssey and still works wonder...althou...i need to adjust the ride height a bit more lower but its okay..next stop...getting the edfc for it..
The road I live on has a quilt-like array of patches because they won’t re-pave it. Definitely more of a coilover use case; my goal is very minimal reduction if any versus stock ride height and nice tight steering. My beater’s current shocks (I believe they’re stock) seem to sit a bit low in the front and it’s painful if I don’t dodge the bumps at anything faster than 10-15 MPH. In town it doesn’t get much better. Being able to adjust down for a track would be nice (not that the car is fast enough without an engine swap/rebuild and turbo) but as it’s the backup car it usually just does grocery duty or covers my regular commuter when that car is getting maintenance. Slow car fast is good enough for me and my budget.
see now I don't hate air suspension because of what people say about it, I just hate it because it's expensive and I'm jealous cause I daily a car on ebay coilovers lol
We assure you it is fam! We apologize for any delay, but most suspension parts are looking at 4-6 week lead time unfortunately. We appreciate your patience ❤️
a set Properly Matched shocks & springs go along way (along with matched sways, arms, etc) ...again, the emphasis should be on PROPERLY MATCHED ...any set up not using components that are all working Together is gonna handle poorly ...great video, thanx guys
I got kyb suspension bottles with vogtland lowering springs for my 1992 toyota paseo and it works perfectly. a little expensive but idc i love my paseo.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the Pedders Extreme XA coilovers. It's the choice I think I'm going to go with for my 17 mustang gt pp1 w/o mag ride, the only thing is I have never herd of Pedders suspension and can't find to much about the reviews online for my vehicle. Any input from anyone that knows about the company or that specific coilover setup would be greatly appreciated, thx!
I own an Evo 10 And I was looking to Buy a set of Ohlin's coilover's I was told that they were great on the track as well as street But what I'm mostly interested is that they don't ride too hard like the other corlovers Like Fortune Autos 510's with a different Spring To make the ride softer But really don't, they say that the Ohlins can run softer than OEM's yet give you performance on the track Yet they can cost $2000+ , So in your opinion what would be a good starter coilover set That's not hard like a rock on the street but able to give me OEM ride & Decent performance on the track And Maybe upgradable For a little more money Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I think I'm just gonna get some really nice lowering springs. I have zero interest in ever tracking the car. I just want the lowered look and a smoother ride.
Seeing robbie used as reference for these types of vehicles makes it hard to believe he's the same guy that was building a civic on his off days a couple years ago
What's the best suspension under 1500 for my g35 coupe 650whp, I want coilovers, I already have lowering springs. I hate air suspension. I know BC but they not the best
I'm looking for some adjustables to go into my 2010 370z, it'll be tracked now and again but mostly aggressive street driving, any particular recommendations?
I’m using my everyday driver 2013 BRZ manual transmission some day I want to take it to the track it’s fully stock and I’m on a low budget not sure what to go with
Just bought a 2011 TDI Wagoooon. Step1: fix all the broken shit. 2. Full exhaust/delete kit + stage 2 tune. 3. Suspension and wheels and tires???? New to this whole car thing the norm for me is 4x4’s so now I have 2 projects that are polar opposites.
I’ve noticed not a lot of people are mentioning “D2 RS Sport” coils. I got these as my first set on 8th gen Civic sedan. Just outdated or are there serious issues with the brand? So far I haven’t had any issues. Maybe some bounce here and there but not that bad, soft and comfort on the multi link rear setup.
I just need a softer ride in my Lexus 2015 RX 350 F-Sport. The thing is too stiff. Can someone please explain to me the rationale behind the stiffness? It’s a semi “luxury”car for crying out loud lol...

I’m new to after market car mods. So coil overs have springs on them already so you don’t need to buy lowering springs? Or is coil overs the whole suspension? Confused
Based on the quick research I did, Ksports are a decent budget coilover but if you’re going to do more with it, would def recommend BCs, Silvers, Fortune, ect and make sure you don’t compromise your ride quality! Up to you. -Edgar
Personally we don’t have a ton of experience with them, but they seem to be a decent option for the price. We would highly recommend BC Racing / Fortune Auto for a sure fire quality option 🤘
Im stalking the air suspension but Im so scared. I have a rocket bunny 2008 350Z. And I DONT want to slam her. Coilovers are super sexy to me over bags but the ride height and instant adjustability is the best. Plus I wont be installing it so finding a reputable installer of Air Suspension is also a major concern to me.

On airlift 3p. Had it since 2017, no problems. I absolutely love the ride.
I have Eibach lowering springs because, I have a 2006 Volvo S60R and it has the stiffness adjustment behind buttons and I want it to work properly.

@@renameduser5279 over all I like them. I have 1 gripe. The front damper controls on the driver's side hits the brake line.
