Taiju didn't love his siblings. He only saw them as something he could control and have prideful sense of power over...
His "love" was simply self-delusion because he was afraid facing himself fact that he is worst monster imaginable....
like every tyrant he was afraid of insults and criticism. He couldn't take any criticism that would ruin his own image of himself.
When Yuzuha said it, author wanted to confirm it.
Just because somebody says "love" it doesn't mean anything, it way you act does. Taiju is simply delusional.
