The FJ Cruiser is still being built in the Hamura Plant in Japan and is sold in the UAE, South Africa, Philippines, etc. I saw an older model (not the 2022) still being available with the manual transmission but now it seems it's only automatic. It's brand new in certain countries but not North America because it's considered too outdated and Americans want the latest and greatest.
A redesigned FJ Cruiser just wouldn't be an FJ Cruiser so I'm very glad the old model is still being built in Japan at the Hamura Plant. It's the only true FJ. Toyota will launch a very small electric 4x4 inspired by the design of the FJ. That's your new redesigned FJ. 😆 If you don't like that the classic FJ is still being built today we can't be friends.
