I think this is copy drama . from Chinese drama the title is "delicious destiny" mike angelo is the leading man there its a same story..the boy who lost his wallet and given 10000won by the madam is his stepmother.his real father is husband of that madam ` and dowon mother is the stepmom of the girl working the mall
Okay, so the mystery is: who and where is Dowon's mother...why did she leave? And who is the father of the Filipino/Korean man? I think it will be interesting watching how they film the cooking segments. The main lead Jigeon, looks like a perfectionist, and yes, there will be a love triangle, but Dowon will of course win. And it's only the second episode and already he has rocked a wet t-shirt. That alone is reason to keep watching. Haha, sorry. I had to mention it.
I am only guessing, but based on other similar dramas I believe the father used to have problems (eg alcoholic) and her mother escaped with her husband not letting her daughter go with her. But as in just about every Korean drama, the writers will justify why the mother never bothered to be besides her daughter when she was needed the most. My next prognosis is, the rich lady is her biological mother who’s daughter will fight for the same man.
For now, I love it but because it is a daily drama, I am pretty sure that lots of makjang stuffs are coming and it is going to be really messy lol. I can already see a lot of birth secrets, scary in-laws, jealous female characters ... etc XD
I feel like they could have gotten an actual foreigner to play kim mingyu's part. Like Nathew. Also, the rich-bitch mother and daughter are quite sickening. It almost makes me want to not watch this. But I have a feeling the main couple are going to be cute as all get out.
