Love it...its not part of their job description..but they make people anxious and cranky slightly comfortable for 0 cost and give them all a better experience
I love these comic preflight briefings. I wish we had the like of them on British Airlines. The only time I''ve met humour like this was on an RAF C-130. We all laughed when we were told that anyone beneath the centre section of the wing would get wet if encountered rain during the flight. It was true though because the centren section leaked. We also got a surprise when the Loadmaster climbed up on the rail over the middle seats with an adjustable spanner and commenced tightening the nut on one of the hydraulic rams.
These are always fun to watch or when you have great flight attendents on your flight, however I've seen so many of these videos from different airlines and they are all the exact same.
I flew WestJet back in 2004 and they were goofy back then... they did boarding call by sock color and the lead FA referred to the 3 other FAs as his ex-wife, current wife & mistress!
To everyone saying there copying maty Cobb a lot of flight attendants do this just cause Marty is the most popular doesn't mean others do it Although I will admit this is pretty close to hers
They were all taught the same thing to make boring instructions seem more interesting...some just put their own spin on it. But they learned it in training by the parent company, Southwest.
I think the most important reason to do a flight safety demonstration like this is because people will be much more likely to pay attention to the safety instructions. ✈️💞
So we got the USA and Canada doing funny safety briefings, then down here in New Zealand we got really cool and maybe funny safety vids...like "The Most Epic Safety Video Ever Made"... I like that one...
My first I was so nervous I didn’t hear a thing. They forgot to tell the ride would be bumpy air turbulence and the plane dropped. Me having a stomach that cramps funny I was like Oeps! A bit to loud and had a part of the plane laughing so hard! My flight to Barcelona from Belgium was funny alright. And a husband that doesn’t speak any other languages than Dutch was hard for him to explain to our neighbor lol. So I said never flown before and it makes my stomach ticklish. In the end it was like woep.. Olé😂 it made my experience funny.
Agreed none of these jokes are original. Marty Cobb (Southwest flight attendant) should have her jokes trade marked. There is a Spirit FA who made the same jokes...not cool :-)
Shes only repeating what was said by another flight attenden't unless that flight attenden't repeated it from another flight attendent or some one else
Yes. Also notice the one talking is seen bent over and obviously reading scripted material. She stumbles while doing so. These same jokes are used on other airlines as well. Nothing spontaneous at all.
She's seen reading what she's saying. She stumbles while doing so. These scripted jokes are used by other airlines as well. I've heard exactly the same on Southwest etc. Nothing spontaneous at all.
I guess they all got it from one video which was the source of this routine. Not sure who was the first doing it, but I've seen videos about flight attendents doing this fluently.
Be fed up then...😌 but they were all taught this in training by the parent company Southwest to make boring instructions seem more interesting. They all did it n some just put their own twist on it.

The flight attendants who do these routines are PRICELESS!!
Very funny! Adding humor to the safety demo definitely increases the number of people who actually pay attention.

Great pre-flight safety message luv the humor
Haha she fight not to laugh so cute 😂
I live this flight crew! Amazing, all flight crew should be like this Fun and professional.
We need more people like her. Humour is the best medicine. She'd put me at ease right away. I'm totally scared of flying ... LOL
@@doghut so what? She made people feel better, that’s what counts.
@@Khloe_dancer_model yeah you're right I typed this a year ago and didn't think it through. Props to the flight attendant :D
Thanks I just wanted to see people smile and put them at ease 🌹

My attention was focused on the really Cute flight attendant.
I get past that by remembering shes prob more trouble than its worth.
@Heartless And?
Yeah she’s nice. 👍
Yall are fucking sad 😂
"If theres anything we can do to make ur flight more enjoyable, please tell us AFTER weve landed in Toronto." 😂
She was so funny!
I've had a similar experience when flying from Athens to Istanbul, (or was it vice versa) summer 2019. Was so enjoyable. Thanks, F.A
Your welcome!! xo
Great, I want ths for every holiday flight.
I heard a street performer use the ‘If you’ve got a complaint write it on a $5 bill’ circa 1988 and it still makes me laugh
Just wonderful
I love casio watches😍

Its a nice change having fun!

Not Southwest though Maty Cobb is strictly SWA.
Thank you...I did this because it makes people happy..and if it doesn't thats too bad. I appreciate your kindness!

These passengers are definitely getting their money worth lol
It's no damn good 😂

Would love to see those.

Damn, 75c a minute, bargain at half the price!!😂
The person in the front who is doing the demo is trying to keep her cool you can tell by her face
the best city in Canada, Toronto 🥰
This 60 fps video looks great. Too bad most people don't turn it on, on their iphones.
50 cents a minute for oxygen
Enough flights and you ignore the cabin crew safety briefings, you just note the closest exits and wonder when the food trolley comes by.
Awesome Southwest Airlines material!
This is West Jet airline. All of these are scripted, memorized jokes. Also heard on other airlines. Nothing original, spontaneous at all.
Southwest Airlines does not fly to Toronto.
Why do all of these stem from the original. A lot of this material is stolen but it’s still one of the better ones.
Why this isn't side to side video?
WestJet copying SouthWest as usual...
Westjet, the Canadian version of Southwest
Andrea Mendes wdym as usual 🤣
Agreed none of these jokes are original. Marty Cobb (Southwest flight attendant) should have her jokes trade marked. There is a Spirit FA who made the same jokes...not cool :-)
Well we could be boring or have fun, next time maybe fun is something you could focus on
I like the flat-chested female attendants...
Westjet obviously
she is really cute and beautiful but marty c. is more funny
Most of the words are the exact same as Marty's... This one isn't too bad... It's still funny though.
Because they were ALL taught the same thing by the parent company, Southwest.
@@countyseatadventures that’s westjet.
🤣 🤪 😂
Hard to hear some of it unfortunately.

I don't even think my iPhone xr has better video than this.
ugh southwest does this..
Cuz they are part of Southwest n were ALL trained to say this to make boring instructions be more interesting.
lololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololol
lolololol
Stop copying Marty cobb I’m fed up of seeing people copy her
Be fed up then...😌 but they were all taught this in training by the parent company Southwest to make boring instructions seem more interesting. They all did it n some just put their own twist on it.
Reading off something
They always read unless you can memorize it which ia not compulsory
Stop copying Marty Cobb. It’s only funny when Marty does it
She didn't copy it at all...they were taught it by the parent company, Southwest, to make boring instructions more interesting.
This is stolen from Marty Cobb at Southwest.
No, not copied at all. They were ALL taught this to make it more interesting from the parent company, Southwest.
@@countyseatadventures This one’s delivery is not terribly smooth. Takes away from the humor of it.
She is so clearly reading a script. I’ve heard this on,other so called ‘funniest flight attendant videos’…..just not funny anymore.
Yeah, nope. Not funny
Boring
