When I was in YA Nelles was cracking but YTS was on another level. Cats were slicing people up left & right. People got excited to make the helicopter come & airlift people out. Shit was a trip.
Gunnerz, I’ll give you a little history on your leva DWN. DWN had a major group disturbance North vs South in the summer of 91. DWN had 9 living units and 6 of them had gone off. DWN only had 8 lockup cells and Nevada was the work furlough unit which was 30 single cell. At the time DWN didn’t have enough single cells so that night DWN opened CHAD. All those involved in group disturbance were housed at CHAD which opened 2 living units. 2 weeks later on Lassen Hall (Intake) a ward was murdered. So you might think DWN was Leva but it had some rocking times also. Be safe and keep putting out the war stories and positive messages to the youths.

I love listening to both of you guys stories while I'm driving around working all day gunners energy just makes me laugh just makes me want to keep working and dubs it makes me think about my life too even though I've never been to prison I'm in this country alone my family back in Mexico and I share some of those feelings not knowing when I'm going to see them again keep going guys stay positive
Excellent! 👏🏽 I never been to jail or prison, but I'm a firm believer in that everyone should through some way or another connect with their Inner Warrior with the Sun Tzu overlay. Just for the hell of it, everyone should cultivate their dark side right alongside their evolved side. This way, once they're civilized and can move with relative refinement in the normal World, once someone nurtures one's Darkness through trespassing, reflexively you can cut your enemy's knees off without a second thought. I believe that this is the only way one can live a quality life...never (ever) as a coward or a novice, but capable of being a complete reflexive destroyer a couple layers underneath all the wisdom and restraint. YA was like going to junior college que no. Much love to all the gentè. I dig the Colabs . I got so much respect for both of you and the journeys you both took. Your here speaking the message for a reason and that’s the purpose to deliver the message. I remember when i started going to juvenile hall. A staff asked me if my dad was such and such and I said yes. He said he knew him and we had a conversation where he told me the system looks at me as a stereo type/ statistic. That shit stuck with me when he broke it down and that really changed how I moved. I still did stupid shit with the homies for a bit and got locked up a few more times but it changed me. But here is my question. Have either of u ever saw someone LEVA in YA that was cool in the pen with the homies? No I wasn't a LEVA OR A LAME. Just always wondered how that went.
I arrived to CYA YTS in 1994 with a life sentence…All lifers started getting kicked out of YA in Agust 96…it was an experience for sure…I wasn’t trying to make a name for myself but I did get tested numerous times and had to maintain my gang identity for sure.. I also called out a couple of my enemies “at the time” etc…Glad I finally made it out and living a positive life style…OC Santana in the house 😁 LPS
My Dad was one of those "Victory Outreach " people and I take offense to the comment made that they only did it as part of their parole. He wasn't on parole, he did that because he loved telling people about Jesus and he was trying to help Us YA BABY'S avoid the life he lived in prison. The comment Gunner made was equal to me saying you guys are only on here to glorify the life style and cause you're po"s made you do it. And totally missing the point that you guys are trying to stop young kids from that life! 😡🤬😡
Not just for parole, alot of them do it cuz their old dope friends with no skills. So it's room and board. They get to play Christian, yet still act like a gangster🤦♂️
