Because of its shape, we called it "cow dung candy" when we were little. It's not a good name, but it tastes good
This is the childhood memory of our rural children. It's a kind of sugar made by our parents. The raw materials are sweet potatoes and wheat which are very common in the countryside
這是我們農村孩子兒時的記憶,是壹種自己爸媽做的糖,原料就是農村很常見的紅薯和麥子
To help translate the title: Cow Dung Candy - Because of its appearance, we locals call it Cow Dung Candy. The name doesn’t sound great, but it’s very tasty

A dungeon for sweet potatoes! Pretty intense
Jaxon SALEDRAB normally people store their vegetables in a cellar so they can ferment and taste more delicious
I wish I had even a tiny underground storage.. I live in the desert, very hot and hard to preserve things.

also you work so hard, huge respect to you and all the other hardworking Chinese people. It’s sad thinking about what’s been happening, how others think the virus going around is a reason to be rude to a race. Nobody deserves to be shamed for something they didn’t do :( ❤️❤️ take care

I thought I heard the little girl calling her mei mei in another video. And mei mei means sister. So I thought she is her sister.
Lol
that's her sister. She is barely 18 years old to get a child.

Is no one gonna talk about the anxiety I got when she went into that small sweet potato hole? Hahaha
Why would we talk about your anxiety
She was just saying that she had anxiety about the pit of sweet potatoes and was wondering if other people had that feeling too
I don't think I could ever do that 😭
No... I mean I live in central Europe and we had these things to keep potatos and carrots or flower roots fresh. And otherwise... what on earth did human kind become, if we cant or wont even do this much. I've also lived in Iceland. And I think I would not be alive if i would not do things like this.

I love how she cook but, everytime she left food in the bowls....I felt anxiety

Cow dung. Yes he he he. Ah the good old days when we were children and candy was made at home. Thank you for another nice video. Happy new year.
Extremely hardworking people.
Inspiring
I think you could double or triple the length of your videos, and they would still be interesting. You have many things to show to the world. 🌏

It also seems like she’s raising the girl by herself!

You’re such a wonderful cook & mum 💕
That's her daughter, there's another video that titled 'making walnut biscuit for my child' and it was the same little girl that's in this video. For those of you who are saying that it's her sister because she looks too young to have a child, we Asians tend to look younger than what our age dictates, even though we're in our 30s we can still look teenagers...

why you always dont wash sweet potato properly? If you dont clean it properly you may get sick..dont be too quick to finish only..the most important thing is to keep clean.
Thats why coronavirus came because of dirt

I love where they store the sweet potato. Is it because its cool there or something?
Yes, just like a cellar
Cold but not freezing and just the right amound of moisture, I would guess.
Maltose or malt sugar from germinating wheat grain has long been used to make candy since ancient time. The starch from the sweet potatoes is added to give it body. Also watched another one like this from Dianxi Xiaoge
