I can't stress enough how amazing you eq is ughhh it's not fair😂 love this video. Hope you and your new baby have a good journey and make good progress; i know you will always do the right thing with your horses!!
Jordyn Theis so glad u like it! i thought adding in more raw un edited clips would showcase the horses better and everyone can hear my trainers comments and the mistakes i make and hopefully learn from it!❤️
So many lovely, talented horses... what a difficult choice! My personal fave was the 2nd gray horse. I liked how he was seeing his own distances and making his own adjustments to hit the perfect takeoff point. I also liked how level-headed he appeared, and how much strength he had to spare. If I were riding and approaching a huge jump, I'd want to be looking out between those two gray ears! ;^)
For the horses you tried in Calgary, did your trainer have connections or did you use an agent? Only asking as I'm planning a trip to Canada and starting to look for agents that can help. Thanks!
Rebekka Bjanes it really depends on the discipline. Hunters often have more of a half seat at canter where Equitation has more of a dressage influence and you sit the canter.
Rebekka Bjanes I haven’t ridden in a few years but I was taught that two point is not the same as half seat www.equisearch.com/articles/beyondtwopoint_081406
Addison Grace they might not be suited for the higher levels this rider wants to achieve. That’s what it is like in the equestrian world. Not one horse can do all levels. As a rider you have to “level up” so to speak on horses the further you want to go into whatever discipline you are in. Also, what’s wrong with more horses? If you can take care of them, give them all the proper care and love they need then what is the problem with having more horses?
Addison Grace i have one horse right now! shes getting older so i need another horse to make sure she gets enough time off and light work so she dosent get over worked and i can still ride alot!
Her trainer taught her to ride like this, and she’s a beautiful rider, so the way she sits the canter is great! Being in a lighter seat is what works best for this rider and the horses she rides:)
I love how light the first horse is on its feet😍
In The Alley he was a really fun ride!!
wow you're a seriously good rider. Really enjoyed watching this :)

My trainer had connections that's how he arranged the trip! good luck!
Why are you constantly in two-point? Is there a specific reason? 😊
Jenna Lempel well, her butt I always out of the saddle so technically it’s a two point, I was taught to always sit, so was everyone else I know..
Jenna Lempel I was taugh that always riding light seat and two point is a bad habit but I could be wrong 🤷🏼♀️

Mira Parker It isn’t the same, in half seat you’re not fully out of the saddle
im on the same journey!
Do you still have Cavarro?
😍😍😍
What happened to your other horses ? xx
LucieEQ nothing! i still own and ride flo :) i dont have any catch rides anymore though
Don't you have two horses already?

How did you find your trainer
Kera i saw him at horse shows and went to his barn to see how things work. hes a wonderful trainer
I’m really hoping you warmed them up correctly over smaller fences first...
Your eq is good, but your canter position is too bouncy
this is not dressage and her seat is nice
Her trainer taught her to ride like this, and she’s a beautiful rider, so the way she sits the canter is great! Being in a lighter seat is what works best for this rider and the horses she rides:)
