- Yuksom in west Sikkim is known as a calm hill station, with less population, you can enjoy scenic views, Suitable for travel enthusiasts to do Trekking.
We got opportunity to experience a Indian village cooking at West Sikkim., where we also saw what is churpi made of and process of how they make churpi in North East India.
This video is about deep interior village tour in West Sikkim. We spoke to villagers about their local food, their mode of earning, education for children.
To reach the village home we went 6 km by road from deep inside village and then had to virtually trek for 30 minutes to reach this village home of North East India
We also visited waterfalls, and expreinced veg and non veg traditional food at Yuksom.

#Timbur : Its a small size fruit used for making chatni and it has medicinal values. Basically present in Hilly region.
> Sil Timbur(Linderaa neesiana) : Aromatic and Carminative
> Bokey Timbur(Zanthoxylum allatum and Zanthoxylum acanthopodium): Both has medicinal values.
#Jaringo(Phytolacca acinossa) : Use a medicinal herb and also use in cooking.

Waterfall is good. Excellent. It is good and attractive beautiful weather journey.Awesome.
desi chicken is a real treat and i am glad you got to enjoy it. the regular poultry/broiler chicken grows in 7-9 weeks. desi chicken takes 22-24 weeks to grow. it also takes longer to cook and is 3-4 times as expensive. it's not very fleshy like poultry chicken but the taste is amazing!
I didn't know there are so many waterfalls in Sikkim... thanks for letting us know

Sir Avil (for allergy), Crocin (for pain & fever) & Voltarol spray (for muscle / joint pain) handy rakha karo, while traveling. In fact it would be useful to carry a small emergency kit with plasters, alcohol wipes, Dettol etc. Maine suna hai antidote grows right next to the offensive plant! On another note, for some of the exotic dishes & ingredients, agar aap naam likh dein video mein (like subtitles), it would be nice for viewers who are not familiar. Your passion for food & travel is truly amazing. Ghar (& madam) ki yaad nahin aati!? We all look forward to your Goa trip. NE states some other time? Video length can be longer (30m-ish) as its a pleasure to watch. Good wishes.

So beautiful Sir!! 😍 I have one suggestion Sir that when you visit Pelling next time stay at Hotel Sikkim Aurora at upper Pelling. It is right beside the famous Helipad. Wahan se aisa Kanchenjunga ka view milta hai day and night that you would be spellbound. And I also noticed that you had missed some of the sightseeing due to lack of time but I would suggest that next time do keep 1.5 days for pelling. The best time, according to my idea and experience would be mid February. I am getting to know so much about local food from your vlogs. Love it Sir! Awesome! 😍😍
