I’m over here in England, i’m just thinking you must have the same kind of shops as we do so what about having a look in an outdoors shop or camping equipment?. not only that it would also be waterproof, which is never a bad thing. You could also look online for military camping equipment, which would also be reinforced as well.

Portability isn't as important to me, so I have a sort of smallish translucent plastic box with a clamp-on lid. What is important to me is having every possible configuration of USB cable.

I personally prefer to have a dozen ikea (it’s a well known furniture store, perhaps you heard about) accessory bags of different sizes. So I can start packing my stuff starting from the smallest and then just put them into bigger ones. I find this way pretty convenient coz I can use any number of bags depends on how many things I wanna take with me.
Yes, we do have IKEA in Sweden. They’re pretty hard to escape over here since there’s stores circling Stockholm. I’ll have a gander next time I go to a store! 👊
Hi Jakob, I use an old black hanging toiletries bag, and the hook is useful sometimes too, especially outside.
p.s. If you simply eat the watermelon, your mouth detects the components and prepares your stomach for the correct digestive processes, salivary enzymes mix with it more readily (effectively pre-digesting) and you don't need more plastic crap or electricity, or glass even. It's a little less convenient but a lot more wholesome.
Also, try cutting watermelon in different planes, instead of the monopolized pole-to-pole 🍉. I noticed that there are spiral layers (like swiss roll) which space the seeds out evenly, and if you use your hands to explore rather than a knife (once it's open) these spirals can be unrolled! The pink stuff also looks remarkably like meat if you don't cut it. Weird when you eat it...
Like most fruit it's a biodegradeable seed incubator that regulates internal temperature, humidity etc, protects the seeds and then helps them grow by rotting around them into compost! This also obviously attacts other organisms which help spread the seeds. And it's also delicious 😋

Lowes, Home Depot (hardware stores), or Walmart
sells these clips that I use for different cable types.
charge cables, trx, aux, power, usb, video, etc.
if you google cyclo cord clip you'll see what I'm talking about.

For the hard case have a look at Nintendo Switch storage.
My son has a storage case for his switch which is about double the size of your hard case 👍.
Has one side with the Velcro strap, and other side is all pockets 😀.
Cow resists the temptation to make jokes about juicy melons 🐄😉.

It’s the Teenage Engineering TX-6 mixer. However it’s way more than a mixer. Other than being a 12m or 6st channel mixer, it can be used as a midi contoller, it has built in synth and drumsynth for all channels, it can send sync pulse, it can transform beats you play into it into sync pulse for syncing old gear without midi to modern gear, it can be used as a stand alone multi channel recorder when plugging in a USB-C flash drive, it has built in FX, it’s configurable etc. the whole unit is made from aluminium, including the pots and faders. It is USB class compliant and MFi certified. It can be connected to any desktop/laptop computer and also smart tablets and or phones. USBC, lightning and on and on.

Which xlr mic (mostly used for clean vocal) and which preamp would you pack for that pocket size kit? I already use the sennheiser ME64 shotgun mic, which compact xlr interface has very low noise?
I’m still undecided when it comes to what mic I want to bring. It’s been a messy ride and I’ll have to cover it in a video at some point.

I use an old messenger bag that I put a wide strip of vel ro inside one of compartments. Holds my ipad, cables, xkey 25key, my interface and a mic. There's still space, but weight can start to be an issue. Easy portability is the main benefit for me. Grab and go!
Tech Pouch form Peak Design. On the expensive side but guessing it'll hold me a life time.
Wash bags, unused presents mostly. Football boot bag if you need larger storage.

I have the best luck with "cosmetics" or "toiletries" or "makeup" bag/case. I always look for them at second-hand stores and buy whatever I find when it looks like something I could use (and has a good zipper). I keep a bin of them under my desk so I can have options to suit my needs when I'm packing things up.

Scoop out the contents of a watermelon, let it dry out and then attach a long Velcro strip to create a perfect globe case! Cheers. Lee
