Please stop being ignorant. First understand what Dunhuang is. Dunhuang is located in Gansu Province, China. In ancient China, it was the place where the Silk Road must pass. Therefore, people from various regions came and went here in ancient times, including India and Islamic countries. , people in Europe and central and western China. Therefore, the ancientization here has also been influenced by many cultures from China, India, Buddhism, Islam, ancient Greece, and ancient Iran. Anyone with knowledge of history knows that this is not called cultural plagiarism, because thousands of years ago this place was a unique civilization produced by human multicultural influence, and it is a splendid treasure of human history, culture and business. It shows the multi-ethnic friendly exchanges and the prosperity of commercial culture here in ancient times. Dunhuang has left beautiful murals, ruins, texts and antiques to mankind. The local culture was heavily influenced by Buddhism, which traveled to China from India around 1500 years ago. The dances have elements from Indian, Chinese, Persian and Arabic dance, reflecting the fusion of cultures in these regions 1000 years ago.

Influence of Umayyah dynasty Arabia
It's Central Asian, which influenced China and India.
I'm smitten ... and I'm unapologetic about it. The music alone is awesome. The choreography is brilliant. End of story for me.
Just amazing. Incredible.

All the dancers are Chinese Dunhuang dancers. DunHuang is somewhere in China famous in beauties, dance and Dunhuang froscores. But bgm is Japan music. The editor used this song as the BGM is because of the style of this song suit Dunhuang style.
@@qzreiquestsct.ld-yt5e7m3n There was NEVER such dress and dance in Japanese history. The dress and dance moves were copied from the murals on the walls of Mogao caves of Dunhuang city of China's Gansu Province, which contains lots of central Asian elements, because Dunhuang used to be a key city on the silk road trade route. When did Japan have any involvement in the silk road or with central Asian countries?

Although all of them are good, the dancer that's my favorite is the one from NE Tiger. Her moves looks more ballet trained.

DunHuangWu ... Yellow Dune ( desert ) dance. A mixture of Persia, lndia and Chinese. Adopted from The Silk Road where the Persians bought silk from China and travelled through lndia and Persia ( lran, lraq ) to Europe to sell the silk fabrics which were extremely popular in Europe. The dance was popular during the ancient Tang Dynasty.
In later years, ltalian traveller Marco Polo broke the Persian silk monopoly.

When this song was first aired in Japan, there were images of the songwriter, Yoshiaki Hoshi, riding a camel in the desert and visiting the pyramids in Egypt.
