I watched a beautiful young lady sing this song at worship tonight. It MOVED me. I wept. I’ve been going through it. I have all my life. I will be delivered in JESUS NAME. I lost my older, and only, brother to suicide age 28 in 2015. May of this year 23, I lost my cousin, who was like a brother, to suicide as well. The darkness has given me the thoughts as well. That I might as well kill myself too, that it will never get better. I’ll always be alone and my PTSD is just too much. I refuse. I stand strong.

I was in pain earlier due to deep sadness and disappointment in myself and my life. I told God I was back in the pit he found me in. But He reminded me that that can't be true because His word says I'm seated with him in the heavenlies. This is for anyone who relates to feeling inexplicably sad. Rebuke it. The joy of the Lord is your strength. Cast down any and every strong hold in your mind that you have built that opposes the word of God. Stop believing in the despicable lie that the Devil whispers to you. Don't let it become a stronghold. We are to break down strongholds with the truth of His word and establish His word in our thoughts over all else so that we are renewed. 2 Corinthians 10 VS 4-5,"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ," Choose to believe in the word of God. Choose to let His word be true. And even when you're at your end and you've done everything you can do, know that God has begins where you end. That's what his grace is for. Growing up I knew God was real but never fully committed to following him, but when I turned 17 my mother had a brain aneurysm rupture and a stroke in the same night, they said they didn't know if she would make it or if she would even be 100% back again. We all prayed and had faith she would pull through. 2022 and she's back to almost full strength and completely fine. He saved my mother for me when I asked and as of November 21st 2021 I am a baptized man trying everything in me to follow God's word. PRAISE THE ALMIGHTY GOD FOREVER AND ALWAYS. AMEN!

I watched a beautiful young lady sing this song at worship tonight. It MOVED me. I wept. I’ve been going through it. I have all my life. I will be delivered in JESUS NAME. I lost my older, and only, brother to suicide age 28 in 2015. May of this year 23, I lost my cousin, who was like a brother, to suicide as well. The darkness has given me the thoughts as well. That I might as well kill myself too, that it will never get better. I’ll always be alone and my PTSD is just too much. I refuse. I stand strong.

The joy of the Lord is your strength. Cast down any and every strong hold in your mind that you have built that opposes the word of God. Stop believing in the despicable lie that the Devil whispers to you. Don't let it become a stronghold. We are to break down strongholds with the truth of His word and establish His word in our thoughts over all else so that we are renewed.

Growing up I knew God was real but never fully committed to following him, but when I turned 17 my mother had a brain aneurysm rupture and a stroke in the same night, they said they didn't know if she would make it or if she would even be 100% back again. We all prayed and had faith she would pull through. 2022 and she's back to almost full strength and completely fine. He saved my mother for me when I asked and as of November 21st 2021 I am a baptized man trying everything in me to follow God's word. PRAISE THE ALMIGHTY GOD FOREVER AND ALWAYS. AMEN!
