- I've been on a break (again), because I've been a bit busy with all kinds of stuff. Sorry for not giving any updates, but I should be back for a while now. The final Splatfest is here, so here is a remix of Marie's song, "Tide Goes Out".

Even in the era of off the hook, Marie remains my favorite Inkling pop star.
Squid sisters are better than off the hook, in my opinion. Also, 100%, Marie is the best!

Marie is the best, I know it's been said to death in the comments, but she is. Sure Callie is cute and peppy, but Marie is so chill. Also I love how this has a sort of Japanese folk style.

...Actually, now that I think about it, one typically encounters such usernames fairly frequently on UA-cam. Even so, very nice.
i really really love this remix, thank you for making it exist 💚 its been helping me sleep lately since i struggle a lot with anxiety and overthinking, so i wear my headphones and listen to this until i fall asleep. its really calming and i just love the general feeling of it.
To be honest i feel like they’re to separate to compare, Marie is the best in being chill and having a Japanese style and Callie is the best in being energetic and having a more preppy style, i honestly love them both equally

I like Marie more because of all the team's she represents.I agreed with her in every Splatfest.I just don't have her personality lol
I chose team Marie also, and I share her personality (and sarcasm) but all of my friends are team Callie. My friend Em looks like Callie if she jumped into a machine that makes you look like a 10 year old.

I like how the the original song has a "That's it, I give up" sad vibe to it. Whereas this on the other hand, has, well it still sounds sad but it also has a hopeful feel to it. As if Marie could be thinking "I'm not giving up yet, I'm gonna keep trying" or an "I'm getting stronger, I know I can do it and I will". It kind of reminds me of the sequel, well mostly the Single Player aspect of it
I think the original one still has the "I'm gonna keep trying" tone, but it's more like "I'm gonna move on." That's just my opinion.
