Hey MamFam!! Thank you so much for watching and enjoying our new cruise series!! We did want to note that while this particular cruise was incredibly pricy, it seems to be at the top of the price range for DCL Cruises to Alaska. Due to the nature of our schedules, we booked much closer to sailing than many people would, and didn't have any flexibility with our dates. When looking at next year's sailings for the same 7-night itinerary, they top out around $9k for a verandah room, with most dates being far less (the least expensive dates being around $6500 for a verandah room.) Not that it's an inexpensive vacation by any means, but we just wanted to share some additional information about the pricing for anyone considering going on this amazing bucket list trip!
I love that you all went and we get to experience it. We are booked on a different line for 2026 but the Disney pieces are magic!! I can’t wait for bears and eagles
Interesting! We are doing Alaska next year and found DCL to be very expensive compared to others (specifically when looking in June and July). Ended up going with another cruise line. Love seeing your experience though. You all are genuinely the perfect combo of entertainment and solid intel!! Looking forward to the rest of this series. 🐻🐻🐻
Whoa!! $25,000 for the rooms!! Plus airfare, drinks, excursions, tips etc. Thats more that $30,000. That’s a car for 7 days of vacation!! Glad I have friends like you that I can live vicariously through. Love you guys.
Oh my gosh. The Mammoth Club trio on their first cruise together was the video I never knew I needed. Making folding my laundry much more "bear"able. Thank you!
As a proud West Coast Canadian who has had the privilege of experiencing the vast, breathtaking beauty of both Yukon and Alaska multiple times, my heart grew three sizes watching MAM embark on this WONDER-ful journey! 🧊🛳️
There's no MAM without Max! LOVED seeing him do this experience, especially with a first timer's take for folks like me who have never been on a cruise. Keep him coming!
Molly I died😅😅😅😂😂 within the first 2 mins. "For those of us who see color" poor Alan they make shades glasses that allow you to see color look into them. Love Max's responses to his first cruise. Can't wait for the next one. ❤😊
My favorite Disney Throuple! They are a joy to watch-Molly is like a kid with her enthusiasm and excitement in coercing Alan and Max into new experiences!
This cruise is still a bucket list item for me. Thank you, as always, for giving us a wonderful tour of the ship and the food! I'm so glad Max is taking his first cruise! Hugs to all 3 of you! Have fun!
Im always embarrassed to be my authentic self. Yet seeing Molly interacting with any character. I aspire to be as engaging as Molly anytime she meets a character. ❤
I've felt the same way in the past, and then I listened to some former cast members talking about how much they enjoyed inhabiting that character, how much competition there is, especially for the Fab 5 charecters, to get to play those roles, and how much they are Disney fans as much as we are. I'm sure, like all of us, they have days that aren't that much fun, but I think the majority of character cast members genuinely enjoy meeting fans, as long as we're respectful and polite. So these days, I really don't care if people DO think I'm a big old doofus, Stitch is getting a hug and I'm getting a picture! Look how much joy it brings MAM, I want that too!
It’s so nice to see Max’s POV. I also don’t drink so seeing other choices is fun and it’s seems we have the same palette as well so I totally know what I will get when I someday go on a Disney Cruise.
This is THE cruise I would take if I were to ever go on one. I was thrilled when I saw you posted this and saved it for weekend viewing. I enjoyed it immensely!
I am so excited to follow this adventure, especially since it’s so much new for you guys. New destination and ship for Alan and Molly AND ITS MAX’S FIRST CRUISE EVER! This is gonna be such a special series and I’m so excited to experience it with y’all.
I'm so happy that you got to cross this cruise off of your bucket list. I'm a cast member and my home ship is The Wonder however I am off right now and I'm so sad that I missed you guys but I wish you all the best cruises EVER Mammoth Club💞. Hope to catch you on maybe one of our other beautiful ships💕!
as someone who lives in Ketchikan, Alaska. who sees the Disney cruise ship every Saturday and hears the horn when they leave. I wish I could sail away on that ship with them or just have mickey wave me goodbye.so jealous glad you had a good time
Love seeing this, almost 25 years ago we sailed on the Wonder on our honeymoon and we were so surprised to see her in Alaska. 😊 We were sailing at the same time as Molly, Allen, and Max although we were on a different cruise line we were in Skagway at the same time. Seeing the Wonder again in person brought back some great memories ☺️
This was fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing your adventure with us. This is going on my bucket list for sure. My family was fortunate enough to be on the maiden voyage of the Disney Wonder in 1999. It was one of the best times and we made incredible memories, I'll never forget. We even met Jodi Benson.
I’m from Vancouver and I use to go down to the Canada Place cruise port at least one a month in the summer to watch the ships sail away and the seaplanes take off and land. It’s my favorite place in the city ❤ The Chevron comments have me laughing because there were always tourists commenting on it everytime I was there. Ahhhh memories 😂🇨🇦
His FIRST cruise and you take him on a 7 day one?! He's a real trooper. I've been on a Disney Cruise (on the Wonder no less) and an Alaskan cruise, but not a DISNEY Cruise to Alaska! Nice.
We just went on the Wonder's 5 day Alaska cruise and loved every minute of it. I was so excited to see that you would be showcasing this beautiful experience. Cant wait for the rest of the videos!
Another amazing video. The Alaskan cruise truly is a bucket lister. I can never get enough of watching people get to experience Disney things for the first time. We just had our first granddaughter and I cannot wait to see her in the parks for the first time. I couldnt help but belly laugh when this video ended on "Not sure why they ended dinner on an "Ode to all things death" video package!!! Thank you for sharing another awesome video MAM. Love to all.
My daughter and I were on the exact same cruise the week before and had a similarly wonderful time. For point of comparison, we booked a very nice inside cabin for a much more reasonable $4300. We were out and about much of the time so I’d really recommend going this route if budget conscious.
I’m sitting in my hotel looking at the wonder as I watch this. We just got off the ship after one of the best vacations. This was a bucket list trip for me, a celebration of my daughter’s sweet 16 instead of a party and today is my son’s 22 birthday. We stayed concierge and although I may need to come up with creative ways to pay off the charges made I cannot recommend this cruise enough. The port excursions were unique and amazing. Cast members on board went above and beyond. Timing of this video couldn’t have been better. I’m sending it to everyone I know because my FB posts don’t do it justice.
Literally JUST got back from a 10 day trip to Alaska this morning (red eye from Vancouver to Boston) to see THIS video drop. Alaska was easily the MOST beautiful place Ive ever been and Im still riding the vibes. Can’t wait to watch this video!
I am absolutely Molly whenever I talk about DCL. I repeat the exact same facts and express the exact same things 🤣the lifeboat fact is a must even if I'm talking about other cruise lines
Love this video!! Being on a Disney cruise is definitely on my travel bucket list for sure, so seeing these videos about Disney cruises just makes me so happy.
I love how you point out Alan's colorblindness. Both my sons are colorblind. My dad felt so bad for passing this on to them. But Alan helps them feel normal.
I’m so glad all 3 of you experienced the Alaskan Disney Cruise. We missed sailing with you guys by a few weeks. Looking forward to seeing more cruise videos.
Molly, you should buy Alan a pair of those glasses for color blind people and make a series of him reacting to all of the crazy colorful sights at the parks!
Love all the cruise content you guys put our. We were on the Wonder earlier this year and it was fantastic! Can’t wait for the rest of this series! Getting me excited for our next Disney cruise 🚢 😄
As a solidly middle-class American, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to take these sorts of trips in the future. So I love that I can live vicariously through you all while watching these adventures 😎
Omg I just realized during the Tina’s lounge part that I get wicked Alton Brown vibes from Alan. Love it!! Hope you all had a fabulous time on this trip together
OMG that price is insane. I love Alaska, but I could do 2 or 3 cruises on Princess for that price and stay in a mini suite. I am a huge Disney fan, but I don’t think I could ever justify going on their cruise line to Alaska when the wildlife and the scenery and the excursions are the best part of the cruise. I have been on two Disney cruises in the Caribbean, but honestly will probably never go again as I just don’t see the value compared to other lines. But I’m sure I will still thoroughly enjoy your videos.
Disney does diet restrictions like no one else. I tried Princess and cancelled b/c of my daughter's diet restriction. Sometimes you pay for safety. We are a Disney family because they care and go the extra mile. And that can be worth the $$. Otherwise, the experience doesn't happen.
They did state that this is a bucket list item for them, and we also know they went over Alan’s birthday, so my guess is they chose to splurge a bit. It’s a deluxe ocean view room with a veranda, so a little pricier. Also, I decided to look at prices for a similar sailing next summer, and if you book a regular stateroom, it’s fairly reasonably priced, especially for seven days.
I cannot express how excited I am about this series!!!! DCL to Alaska is a dream of mine, and the closest Port to us, living in Oregon. I hope that you all had an incredible trip! 🚢😍🐳🐋🌨️
Love this video! I took some friends to the Abita Brewery a few years ago in Abita Springs, they sampled the beer to their hearts content, and I, like Max enjoyed their fine Root Beer! Can't wait for more of this series!
Molly coming with the facts about DCL “for Max” that we’ve definitely, never EVER heard before 😆😆😆 (Ok. I’m going to try to not make multiple comments, but no promises. I’m not a 🤖 I’m just THAT excited about this.)
This time last year I was sailing into Alaska - I saw so many whales off the ship that I almost cancelled my whale watch excursion in Juneau! Thanks for sharing, there is no place like it.

@@Mammoth_Club aww that’s so much better 💗💗💗 we loved watching guys and max first cruise.
Thanks for clarifying, the price seemed high even for Disney
Whoa! Your cruise seemed extra pricey even for DCL Alaska. Mid-August this year 5C verandah was about $9200 for 2 & $10,500 for 3 in same room.
Molly’s excitement every time Max experiences a ‘first’ on the cruise is always me when I bring a someone to Disney for the first time
Yes! I love the friend reaction to introducing another to experiences! ❤🎉
The Chaos Twins skipping off in the distance. Alan: Well, this was poor planning on my part!😂😂
😂😂 Molly explaining the ship colors never not makes laugh. Love this video.
“Fun color facts! For someone who can see them!” 😂 Poor Alan
I loved Alan’s “what the hell.”

Yeah my jaw dropped when I saw that, that’s almost as much as my student loan debt lmao
Molly explaining everything to Max as a first time cruise goer is both incredibly funny and cute!
Molly and Alan waiting with bated breath while Max eats his first chicken tendie is *chef’s kiss 💋
Max's first cruise is 7 days in Alaska. He'll be spoiled for life.
You guys set the bar so high for Max. Job well done.
I actually prefer the Caribbean :)
@@DaveTingwalddI've recently done two cool weather sailings (Iceland/Norway and the Baltics) and actually prefer warm sailings 😅
