After watching this video , I was able to find one listed on EBay. I won the auction. Shipping was high bcs I’m in US and the machine was in UK. Just received it. I’m here watching you again so I can learn !thank you soooo much !
OMG you made my day. It's hard to post these videos, the editing part is tricky and I work two jobs. I do it because I love knitting sooo much. There's nothing better than finding a young girl like you who is so excited about learning this beautiful art. Thank you! 😄
Hello Helen , “ young girl “ made “my day” lol, I’m a mother of 7 and grandmother of 10 ! I love knitting to but my fingers gets a little stiff with the needles so I was looking for an alternative when I fount your video. So happy! I was so blessed to find the machine but even more to see this video. There is no way I could figure out the setting without it, grin, so thank you sooo much !smiles!Patricia
Ok just got to work it out. I’m using a thin sports weight cotton so I need to be careful with the needles to make sure is closed before I pull through it but other than that , man I’m in love with this machine. What a treasure! Thanks to you that showed me !
They are absolutely lovely. But at the end of the 1990s, people stopped buying home knitters, so they stopped producing the lesser-known machines. Such a shame!
I have the triangle. Love it. Been bedridden for a year, and knitted scarves on it. Would love to have the flatbed too!! I understood the factory stopped producing these, so I am worried I might run out of spare parts one day.
I know! I haven't been able to get the triangle. It's true they are not in the make anymore, but everybody is 3D printing their machines' parts now. I just created a circular sock knitting machine using a 3D printer. I posted the video a month ago.
Hello, Thanks v much for sharing your experience of the Simpleframe knitter. I have one too and looking at your video, it seems to me that you only have half of it, which is a shame. You are doing really well thought with only half of the frame as it is really a ribbing machine and as you only have half, you can only do single knitting, not ribbing. Nevertheless, you are brill to figure out how your half works and sharing your enthusiasm for this great device. Keep up the good work and keep knitting!!!!
hi Helen, i saw your video when i searched knitting machines and your machine is so good... but because of I live in Turkey i could not found this machine how can we get this machine could you share link by the way i searched ebay but i couldn't find:(((
Hi Merve, Unfortunately, they stopped this machine's production in 1987. This is a collectible item; the few in existence can only be found through eBay, and even there, they are very hard to find.
Wow Really Cool I Have The 48 Needle Simple Frame Knitting Machine The One You Call Triangle I'm Using Mine Right Now. Yours Is Longer. I like Yours Cool !!

Unfortunately, they stop making them in the late 1980s. I have been looking for another one and haven't found it. This is pretty much a collector's item. :(
Hi Mina, Thanks for watching. It seems like I am the only person that has this specific model. I found out that other people have the original version which is shaped like a triangle. I have been looking for the original Simple Frame myself, but I can't find any. I got this one from eBay UK (I live in USA) a while ago. They stopped making this machines in the 1990s. I tried to find information about the company, but it doesn't exist. It is a collectors item. :(
Hello, after looking at this video I actually bought me that machine! Now mine has missing some very important parts: the fingers that enable stocking stich. I apologize for being so bold but I wonder if you could lay one beside a ruler or such and photograph it, so I could get the measures to rebuild them?
Hi Phadi, sorry for the late response. I actually want to get another one of these machines, but they stopped making them in the late 1980s. I found mine on eBay and it was expensive about $300.00, because it's considered a collectibles item and can only be found in the UK. I would suggest to put alerts on eBay so when one becomes available, you can be one the first ones to bid on it. Good luck!
Yes it is, but the Bond isn't portable. This one is a sophisticated loom. I love it because I can take it anywhere. In fact, I have several Bond machines, but I honestly prefer to use the Brother and Singer plastic beds, they're fantastic.

I'm afraid the BOND knitting machine is much better than this - when you can find one that works !
