Another thing that works great for reds is chatter baits, we used to always use spoons down here in Louisiana and now where having better luck on the chatter baits
Find some type of foam product(not solid foam), cut out a small piece and stick it over the mic on your cameras.. It'll get rid of that wind blowing in your vids. Yeewwwww
The gold spoon never fails for red I think people on the IRL stopped using them because there’s no grass now. I find it is the best in low light or against dark bottom not to say it can’t catch in bright conditions, when I fish on the gulf over grass the gold spoon absolutely wacks the reds.
Hey man if you figure it out let me know. I’m in Melbourne and I see a decent amount of snook south of there. Speckled trout are more common and all you need is a little jerk bait for those. Reds I can’t help you with haha.
Love this series.. it’s cool to see you out of your normal element. Proud of you!

It's really cool to see you fishing in my neck of the woods, glad your LA trip a good one!!
You gonna have to upgrade to a foot pedal for that trolling motor. It’s a game changer. Those remotes are a pain.
The gold spoon is always a great bait. I use 1/4 Oz and get alot of juvenile and big Reds and Speckle Trout.
Use gold spoon (3/8 and 1/4) all the time in the lagoon. Works as good as any other lure. I have caught hundreds of reds on the johnson spoon...
cant beat a gold spoon that top water lure did you get a free bowl of soup with that purchase

I can believe that! I love chatter baits for bass.

Bro I beg you! I’m a local desperate to put the Mrs on a decent snook or Red. Please just advise me if I go north of eau Gallie on Indian or banana?

I did throw it for a longggg time. Did not find any bites though.
Yesss sirrrr 🤙🏼
bruh I wish I had a boat like that
I have caught more fish, of many species, on either a Johnson silver spoon or a basic silver krocodile spoon. All over the world.
