Other villans try to be complicated, where they try to back stab or ambush an enemy like betas, Sundowner goes head first towards the objective like a beast, and that's why he is so apealing to many people.
One of the cool things about this dude is how they animate him. He doesn't really move much for a short while, then all of a sudden he'll make a big dramatic gesture. It really sells his unpredictability and also makes him a little inhuman, almost insectile.
As somebody who is born on September 11th, I can relate to Sundowner on a spiritual level. I mean, celebrating this day of the year is common practice to me
