UA Rise 16U vs P7 Elite 7 13 24

This team was going to be a handful. Great players all knowing their roles and playing good basketball in a system which was multi-faceted. We dug an early hole but fought back and made it close. There was the bad referee factor of course and you'll have to watch the video to see what I mean. Three phantom travel calls on us which took away buckets and killed momentum. And a baffling gaffe which saw their coach walk on to the floor as we were in the middle of an offensive possession. Any real referee calls the technical foul, we shoot 2 free throws and get the ball on the side. Nope. They gave them a timeout. It was embarrassing. We did only lose by 10 to the 2nd best team on the circuit...If you're looking for silver linings. One more game at 11:45 tomorrow in the wonderful main facility. Tonight we will enjoy an all Playmaker's mixer at a local fun park. Food, drinks and mini golf for players and their families of 15U, 16U and 17U teams!
