I know it isn't exactly minipainting related, but have you thought about doing a video on your exercise routine or doing a video talking about the health of painters and how to improve because in our hobby we spend a lot of time sitting down, staring at small details under bright light, and usually staying hunched over the model while painting.

Useful info though! I've thought about it but it probably wouldn't get many views, but I think I'll do it anyway because none of my stuff is popular 😅 Yet, I joke, it takes time.

I liked how you showed the process of bringing back up the orange and "corralling" everything with the black. I feel like I've gotten to that point after wet-blending on my models many times, and wondered why everything was looking washed out and undefined. It's easier to trust in the process when you can see it working!

Phenomenal job on that sword! As someone who is familiar with metallurgy and forging, you did about as good a job as Iv seen. Its not often you see painters attempt the "cooling off" so to speak effect of the hot glow of metal. Usually its the opposite and pretty exaggerated by hobbyiest when it comes to flame swords and power swords. For a second I thought I was going to have to be "that commenter" who has to give some blatant criticism on an obvious masterpeice of a project, especially for Golden Demon. But I see it wasnt the finished product on that particular side of the sword in the video. I was stressing and its not even my competiiton piece haha. The upper parts of the sword were looking a lot like rust or very odd placed osl effects, haha. The other side which I assume you did second, is very much in line for what you were attempting to pull off, soo great job there. If you havent done it already as I assume this video recording is a week or 2 old, Id say try and emphasize the individual cores of the glowing upper parts of the sword just a bit more. There should be no darker areas in the center of those sections as those will be your hottest areas still

Very cool blade! I think those small black lines over the orange cooling areas were a great idea! Looks awesome!

Gorgeous! I really like how the skulls look like they're bobbing uo out of a liquid, with the heat glowing through, really excellently done.

Awesome effect. I'm still getting into wetblending. So it's always very helpful to see the whole process. Thanks a lot.
