With a band like Seether, they write hundreds of songs each album and narrow it down to about 50 that end up getting lyrics. So there's probably at least a thousand songs going through his head at a time sometimes. Having all that plus other things going through you're mind all at once gets really tough sometimes. He was also still on coke at the time I think, so that also could have been a contributing factor.
