I notice you always use a torus for Sim Lab. I've tried to make an axle work within a hole - like a real model that we would print and assemble. But when I try to simulate - it falls out even when I have adjusted to make the main piece with the hole static - it seems I have to Group it (?), but grouping prevents me from being able to make one static, the other dynamic. If any tricks / or if you have made a piece other than the torus work as 'the hole' - please share!!
Currently you need quite a gap for axles. Also fewer sides help. I do not have a rule of thumb, but I was having more success with the torus. It is a moving target too as I know Tinkercad is working on ways to make stuff work more like we expect it to. Every time I learn something I will share it though. =) Thanks for the note and feel free to reach out anytime.
Good start. Make sure you switch to the sim lab for the materials. This is my brand new version too. ua-cam.com/video/Y-GEiSZaoYE/v-deo.html It uses the new connectors.
This is huge! Thanks for sharing
My pleasure and I agree 100%. So fun to be able to make things move. 💯🔥

@@HLModTech You too!
very cool bud!
Thanks! Have a blessed weekend brother!
so we can only use gravity as a force and not use an external force as per our needs?
Tinkercad does allow us to fiddle with gravity now. ua-cam.com/video/LmLlz2dnDoA/v-deo.html
