Hello sir. If you are continuing down the path of an Endermain, you need to know how to do “The Dirt and Hurt”
Place any block slightly off the side of the stage so there is a 1 block size gap. When your opponent approaches, jump, down air, and then grab. The anvil will stay in midair due to the block, you can grab someone, and proceed to plummet to your doom with them.

Quick recovery tip: If you need a super small amount of height to grab a ledge, you can press the shield button to cancel the recovery and go straight into free fall. It gives you only a tiny bit of height, but it has saved my skin many times.

If you mash a at the top of your recovery you grab ledge much higher
A little tip for you, if you lost your double jump as Steve, use your Minecart and jump out of it since you gain one more jump after hopping out of the minecart and you can still use your Up B with Steve
