Grey album my dad brought this back from Jamaica. I waited 2 days for him to arrive from Heathrow airport a stopped off at various house parties and this was getting the treatment hence the delay.
I was Introduced to Lord Laro music as a little Girl Growing up in the 70's in Guyana, My Parents play these all the time along with Ken Lazarus etc.. before I moved to New York, I am playing it right on my Speakers and Cooking dinner loving it Never get old # Classic 🇬🇾🇺🇸🇬🇾❤❤❤❤

I was introduced to Lord Laro by Caribbean friends at the University of Ibadan during the 1980s. Calypso was a new rhythm to my ears which had become accustomed to the reggae beats from Bob Marley and the Wailers, U Roy, I Roy, etc. While Mr. Marley caused us to ponder the uncomfortable economic and social conditions under which we lived, Lord Laro and Mighty Sparrow and the other calypso artistes helped us dance our pain and sorrows away and made us laugh at the similes. "Lover's license" and "World News" were particularly funny to my young adult mind. Thank you Lord Laro.
