@@BigAl96 I like Verbruggen to Alisson though! I don’t hate Jackson to Gakpo. There is definitely a high ceiling there but I do like LIV fixture vs Everton and think the defence are more likely to play both games - probably ideally VVD for ultimate safety of 180mins!

@@BigAl96 I’ll have a think about this tonight more after watching Chelsea game and I’ll try to comment on Jackson in the tactics and stats video. Probably tomorrow or Thursday night. Initial thoughts are the money for him could perhaps be spent in midfield or defence and could look towards a Wissa or wood or even a punt on ndiaye for dgw24!

With your options, I would expect you would definitely get more points with Gabriel to VVD in 24 given Arsenal are also playing against MCI that week. Watkins to Gakpo I don’t like as much given AVLs good fixtures and I don’t think gakpo will play both in the double. I think Gordon to Diaz is an interesting option and the one with highest upside but also significant risk. I don’t have the risk tolerance to make that move but if you want a high risk strategy it could be worth it. Note you should have a strong bench if you do this
I’ve done Gabriel to VVD for the next few weeks, and then a possible downgrade back to Gabriel or kerkez after the next 3 GW. I also have TAA and Salah!
@@11958J I like the thinking. I’d possibly look at downgrade to someone with a good fixture in 29 during that blank. Maybe NFO defender (Aina or Nico Williams). Don’t mind kerkez either though. Good attacking positioning and aggressive runs
Hey Mate, any thoughts on Luis Diaz ? Bringing in Trent for gvardiol, so taking out Bruno for Diaz potentially or an other. Team is Verbruggen , Gabriel , gvardiol , Hall Palmer, Rodger’s, palmer , Salah mbeumbo , Isak and mateta (wissa bench) 3 free transfers to play with. Trent in for gvardiol Diaz/kluivert in for Bruno Or gakpo in for mateta ( don’t really want to sell mateta)
Bear in mind, we play manger of the month for money so I’m thinking of treble captain Salah to bring it home. Currently top with 205 points for January ha
@@brianodoherty8444 hi mate a couple of thoughts here. Trent for gvardiol absolute strong decision. Full support. I think Diaz will start for Liverpool this week in the league. He was brought off in UCL at 75mins and Darwin played all 90. I reckon Diaz starts in 9 with gakpo on left. Re double gameweek I think it’s pretty hard to predict with the turnaround in Liverpool fixtures. My guess would actually be he starts both in the double but until we see the lineup for PSV game in midweek 23 can’t guarantee. I personally think gakpo will start PSV as PSV is his former team which makes me think Diaz will likely start BOU but I expect him to play reduced minutes in the Bournemouth game as EFL Cup semi be TOT is v close turnaround time and I think Slot will want best team for that which includes Diaz and Gakpo. I think he’s definitely the better option than Gakpo for greater points upside. You said you are bringing out Bruno which I think is fine for your plans to try and win the mini league manager of month. Longer term just pay attention midweek to liverpools team selection and you should be able to bench Diaz for the appropriate weeks so make sure to keep the nice rotation you have in midfield. Longer term also think towards gw29 and if LIV do beat TOT starting to move some players out for the blank. But you don’t need to worry about that for this month. I think your decisions are on point! 👊🏽

Interesting on Gakpo, I hadn't realised the part about PSV. I think i will go with double LIV defence in that case!
@@MilesDStar I think it’s safer but there is certainly a possible higher ceiling to Gakpo. I like the Everton fixture defensively for Liverpool though
