Her monotone voice feels so staged. She does not smile and I feel like her eyes look sad. Is she privately miserable? I definitely do not hate her but am bothered by the dissonance between her claiming this perfect life and her seemingly hidden sadness?
'Slim Easy' sounds like the type of jeans you'd find in an Urban Outfitter and 'Rumble Honey ' sounds like it could either be a flavor of tea or a strain of the devil's lettuce.
I honestly feel she would get way less hate if she just did a soft rebrand and admitted it's an asmr cooking show instead of what her family want that day. for example: 'my husband's favourite ice cream flavour is Oreo Soft Serve, so on special occasions I like to make it for him from scratch to show him how much I care. first, I...'
Yeah, that would make it a lot better. But branding it like “Oh my children wanted Oreos? I’ll go make it right now!” And then taking so many hours every time someone just wants one thing like gum or something.
Idc about her but I think people dislike her because she just seems outta touch with reality but that’s just most rich people in general. Also people may see her as fake, spending all those hours creating basic food from scratch while having small children is very unrealistic. Other than that there’s no reason for so much hate honestly.
She’s a Mormon and religion that explicitly states the only good people in the world are yt and to be born anything else is to be a punishment for being a bad yt person in the past life
I think quite a bit of it has to do with how some people assume she’s taking the feminist movement back a few decades. My thing is - the beauty of feminism is that women get to choose now. We can choose to be house wives like she has or we can choose to be career driven.
They hate her because she is Mormon and the Mormon religion teaches that a woman's place is to be subservient to her husband and stay at home and take care of him and be a mother. While she may not be coming out and saying it directly a lot of her content is romanticizing that lifestyle and encouraging that belief (although not explicitly). It's also ironic that she is Mormon as a black woman considering Mormons believe the dark skin = a curse from God for being a sinner
It is hilarious when she’s like “my baby asked me for a pb&j first thing in the morning so I spent 6 hours making it for her” as if that baby isn’t losing her damn mind waiting all day for a damn sandwich
I'd be dead from starvation if my mom made me wait 6 hrs to eat! 😂 Especially without an easy snack. Oh wait, she'd have to make that from scratch too, nevermind.
What drives me nuts is the fact that she's 22. TWENTY TWO years old. That's one year older than me. Yet here I am, living with my parents, in a shark blanket, eating crackers at my desk (which is nothing to be ashamed of). All while she has multiple children, and is married. Our contrasting lifestyles completely bewilder me.
I'm 23, desperate to find a job, living with my boyfriend and 2 cats. I feel like my life is profoundly chaotic rn, and I couldn't imagine adding a _human child_ into the mix, especially at my age
I’ll be 24 in two weeks, trying not to be paycheck to paycheck. and it’s hard enough taking care of my cat 😭 she’s spoiled asf but I’m not making no wet food from scratch 💀
She’s easy to hate on. Like people said she’s cosplaying a homemaker while having a team of household staff. She’s not a stay at home mom or real homemaker she’s a businesswoman bankrolling this ridiculous crap on the internet. I actively drop/avoid/unfollow brands that work with her.
🙄! Enough internet for you! If u can’t tell apart content from reality I think u need a timeout! Nara Smith makes content, it’s not for you to copy, it’s for you to check her recipes if u want
@@ellaartenstein853its rage bait. Cooper did not watch that video, whatever the video may be (im not willing to look it up, but im sure its something horrific happening to a child). Theyre saying it to get attention, they say this under thousands of comments on hundreds of channels. Cooper probably has no clue what this is even is, and neither do i.
Speaking as a professional nanny for the past 30 plus years, this woman has an entire staff behind her. There ain’t no way she’s doing all this from scratch, cleaning it all up, making and editing videos and caring for the kids. She’s making the rest of the world feel inferior….and she’s loving every minute of it.
If you feel inferior after watching a video that is meant for social media, that is a person problem. She isn't making anyone feel inferior. People who wish they were doing something different but haven't made any actual changes get jealous and instead of accepting or working on themselves, they get pissy towards a creator who hasn't put down anyone.
@littlekittyonaroof I'm not saying that her husband won't eat it neither was cooper it was just that she wasn't making it JUST for that reason as she record it all and got all dressed up for it. But overall, I just found that line funny.
"mommy, I'm a cranky 2 year old that just woke up and I'm starving. May I please wait 4 hours for you to make me half a cup of dry cereal from scratch?"
As a klara I am wildly offended with how she named her child my name my name is pretty normally spelled and I still have issues with my name I cannot imagine that poor child
Everything about her videos makes so much more sense now that I know she and her husband are models. The videos are just an extension of their modeling careers. Glamorous and selling an ideal that is not based in reality at all.
it’s based in their reality. you can’t tell people who are way richer and far more successful than you, what “reality” is. they shop in stores you’d never see cause they aren’t in your broke mall!
@@dreamkitty Reality has nothing to do with how much money they have or which stores they shop in. Reality is no toddler is going to wait quietly for hours for a pb&j or cereal made from scratch. No woman dons a full face of glam makeup and a fashionable nightgown just to make food for their toddler. She does that to sell an idealized aesthetic, just like with a modelling shoot. Her shorts are not based in any kind of reality because she is not dressing up like that for herself; she's doing it for a camera because it makes her money. What you see on social media pages like hers is not day-to-day reality; it's the curated ideal she wants you to see.
@@noraeable well yes that's how social media works. any adult should know that by now, the fact that some women still let it affect them to the point they start spewing hate while knowing this is idiotic. also, how do you know she doesn't' glam off-camera? someone wear makeup just to go to the grocery store...and if she's already a model, it makes sense why she'd be more fashion inclined.
@@sainttheresetaylor2054 "Just to go to the grocery store" you say, as if the store isn't a public place full of strangers where some women may feel the need to wear makeup because of societal expectations.
He looks like he’d give her a black eye because she had the gall to ask why he was late coming home when she knew he was out wit da boys after work. And she looks like she’d believe she deserved it, and would immediately make him a steak after.
It might actually not be true. Apparently people have found evidence of her claiming to be 22 for longer than a year, which isn’t really surprising if you’re a model because it’s hard to keep that job past 30, so lying about being in your early 20s for a while extends the workable time frame before you’re out of a job
@@Kimmie9553 she’s 22. There are records from Germany of her being in an elementary school swim competition at a time that would place her at around 22 years old now.
@@Kimmie9553people assume she lied about her age before because her being 22 now would suggest they dated while she was still minor and married right after she turned 18
@GriffDidSomeThingsWrong definitely funny lol 🤣 people were already not big fans of her so they made up all kinds of stories. She was always damned if she did, damned of she didn't. Like they complained she spent too much money wearing silk dresses, but when she switched to cotton, they complained she was changing the fashions and going to destroy the French silk industry. And then of course the whole thing with someone pretending to be her as part of a con, but somehow she still got blamed 🤣
It’s the air of superiority combined with the fact that she clearly has staff at home doing other things. She is part of the leisure class roleplaying activities done by the working class while dressed and speaking in a way that denotes an air of superiority. Someone who ACTUALLY cooks from scratch and is a homemaker could NEVER have the time for what she does; but the rich roleplaying as working class is nothing new.
That's what people need to know. Nara has said it all the time that being a Content creator and modelling is her job. It's like saying, "modelling is a scam, why don't I look good the way they does."
@@sundus928 but she’s always out here replying to her instagram comments saying she “makes the time” to do this, and likes comments from men saying should be the standard for women 👀
Soen guy made a video pointing out that this type of "trad wife" influences sell the idea of being a home maker while simultaneously not being one lol Like they never post videos of them cleaning the house, getting a difficult stain out of a shirt or doing chores that actually constitute to taking care of the home. They just do this time consuming meals so they can say "look, I'm a stay at home wife hard at work" but this tells us nothing about their skills as wife or a mother other than they can cook. Idk if it makes sense but is a pseudo-house wife effect if you will, they do something yet show us nothing
I’m literally a 28 year old mother of 2 and just making normal meals 3 times a day is a lot and so tiring so to see her doing stuff like that I know it’s all fake. And if it’s not fake it’s because she doesn’t truly take care of her kids, she probably has a nanny
The slow way she rolled out those cookies for that cereal I was dying, the cereal doesn't pour from the box fast enough for my toddler. She definitely doesn't deserve any vicious or nasty comments but she's clearly a smart woman who knows what gets views and how to get those keyboards tapping, so she'd be expecting people to at least be giving her a reality check sometimes 😂
I think it's a joke. Think about it. Mommy I'm hungry and the mom be like wait here for 6 hours while I make bread from scratch Timmy 😂😂😂😂😂 I don't have any issues with what she does. A lot, and I mean a lot of influencers do the same shit
Her content is a fairytale. there is nothing realistic about it and I think that is the whole point. so there's nothing to be mad about. it's just chill aesthetics. nothing to compare yourself to and no need to feel inferior. that's how I see it
@@Red-jl1qrI think anyone with basic common sense and who's not a complete buffoon idiot can tell it's not realistic at all and is for aesthetic purpose.
It's because mothers don't typically have 6 hours to make a pb&j from scratch and most mothers (and fathers) worry about being inadequate already. They have to leave their kids with strangers all day while they work, then come home and try to make healthy meals and try to get the house clean enough and pay attention to the kids and spouse before passing out. While this woman makes it look easy to wear full glam makeup and clothing and cook from scratch AND spend time with her kids AND make her husband happy. While in all honesty it's not because she's better than anyone else, it's just money. She has money and that's why she is able to do all of this. She can be prettier, healthier, a better mother, calmer, etc because of money and that feels a little unfair to some people. I'm not even a mother and I completely get it why this would rub people the wrong way. Is it okay to hate her? Sure, just leave it to yourself, you don't have to tweet it, just shout it into the void and go about your life. Don't send hate to people's faces.
yeah like how can a fricking printed paper (made by humanity) have so much value, grant so much privileges and literally _control the whole world_ (said humanity included, ofc)⁉️
I agree. I don't feel any hate, happy she has the financial stability she has for her family. She's giving something she can to her family, more power to her if it's all real.
@@dreamkitty So the second paragraph explains what it has to do with her. And in the last one I said I don’t even have kids but I sympathize, and to not send her hate. I don’t think that’s being bitter.
Finding out Lucky Blue Smith is married after years of seeing him as character inspo in Wattpad books is not what I was expecting from a Cooper video 😭
It’s not the full glam. It’s not the recipes. Cooking in makeup and nice clothes is a thing that’s been done for ages. It’s pretending like it’s all some simple 2-step solution to a healthy life for your husband and kids. THAT’S what annoys people. The PB&J is a perfect example. If your kid asks you for a PB&J for breakfast, you literally can’t make bread and jam and peanut butter from scratch in the 20 minutes before your toddler throws a tantrum. Pretending like you can and that you’re a good mom and wife for it is what rubs people the wrong way. Same with the cookies and cream milkshake. If you have an immediate craving for that kind of thing, it’s genuinely a waste a time to make it from scratch at home. If she just said, “My husband likes cookies and cream milkshakes so I thought it would be fun to make some ice cream and cookies totally from scratch,” it wouldn’t bother anyone. I’ve seen that kind of content before. It’s pretty standard on the internet. BUT she knows what she’s doing. The air of superiority is what she’s going for because for better or (mostly) for worse, the algorithm incentivizes engagement. And this makes people feel some type of way.
That whole my children asked me to or my husband asked me to is just what ppl do on cook tok theres 100s of vids with the same intro like have you seen that one lady that be like my husbands asked me too cook the amazing hamburger etc I’ve actually stumbled across this girl before i liked her so i was shocked to see the amount of hate she has received
I have a well raised toddler? thank G she doesn't throw a tantrum if I tell her I don't have pb&j right away... its obviously a saying "my family wanted to eat this so i genuily make it for them" she's not making it at the moment they asked for it. I sometimes cook from scratch, bc i dont have a 9 to 5 job, it more freely. When my toddler ask for yogourt (14hrs to be done) or cakes or cookies (1hr) "maybe we can have cookies later okay ?, youll have yogourt tomorrow" And I'll simply make them for later and feed her something else ! Maybe she doesn't cook herself every meal for everyone but in her video she's just specifies "they asked me so I tried to do it" sometimes igs just funnier and healthier from scratch too She's not promoting anything or saying her lifestyle is the best and people not making food from scratch with a full face qnd nice clothes are the worst parents on earth. That's some reach...to hate on someone just existing and doing her life, blud shes just posting cooking video and people are mad mad 💀
@@liabstrait8306this is the third time you’ve been in the comments about making your toddler homemade yogurt- kind of seems like you have a touch of the pick me disease the TikTok lady has.
All i'm getting from this comment is she's rubbing people the wrong way because her videos are "unrealistic" and "unattainable" for the average person. Bro, let's not act as if 90% of influencer content isn't already incredibly unattainable for the average 9-5/minimum wage employee. The content that gets promoted tends to be lavish trips and vacations most people can't afford. There's Mr Beast type shit where people are giving away thousands of dollars randomly to random people. There's "tone deaf" and "out of touch" beauty influencers guilt tripping viewers for buying "low quality" dupes of skincare and makeup products that retail for hundreds of dollars or around the $100 mark. Bruh. It doesn't rub people the wrong way because she's actually saying out loud in her content or somewhere in her caption "Hey! You! Loser, poor people!!! Get off your lazy ass and go make your children all their food from scratch or else you are a FAILURE as a PARENT!!!! Unlike me, who is perfect and such an amazing mother for doing this tehe:)" She has never once said any of that, she's never even made a passive aggressive remark about how "i genuinely care about my kids unlike OTHER parents soooo i'm going to make their food from scratch like everyone who cares about their kids should be doing." She is unrealistic, she is unattainable for the average person. But to claim she "rubs people the wrong way" is just a way to justify the backlash and hate she's recieving which is actually just people being upset that her content is unrealistic and unattainable for THEM. It's not supposed to be a tutorial on how to be a good mother. It's her clearly enjoying cooking and making these things from scratch, she most definitely doesn't actually fix all her childrens' meals and snacks from scratch. I personally wouldn't watch her content because, like i said, I know it's not attainable for me and probably never will be. If people want to see realistic content, they should hit "not interested" when her videos pop up, and they should seek out content that matches their lifestyle and doesn't make them feel bad about themselves...which is the REAL reason it "rubs them the wrong way." She didn't actually do anything wrong. People just don't like feeling like they're less than. And that's their problem and their insecurity, not hers. Sincerely, a bitch who's always teetered on the lower-middle class line, whose family struggles to pay bills, whose family has gone hungry from time to time, etc. Her content isn't for or about everyone the way people think it is or should be. It's about & for her & people need to stop calling things that they know are a crazy unrealistic display of wealth as "out of touch" like no shit sherlock! Y'all don't call the Kardashians out of touch when they post shit all the time acting like their world is ending bc their privileged life isn't going perfect while others in the world are starving and dying..."Kim, there's people that are *dying.*"
For me it's the way she fabricates scenarios that are completely unrealistic, just to convey to the audience how impressive she is. As other commemters have mentioned, it would be impossible to make a pb and j from scratch while her toddler is wailing from hunger in the other room. So we know she's lying, but why? To impress us? To make us feel inferior? Or to scam/ trick us? People don't like being lied to!
to make you feel inferior. exactly the same reason why she filmed her husband picking up watever vegetable for her. @@drinas2783 It’s a valid reason to critique someone. Lots of people think that Nara’s content is real, and she does give off an air of pretentiousness, but the reality is that Nara isn’t taking 4-6 hours to make breakfast that her child asked for once they woke up. She’s making content and it’s not supposed to be reflective of real life.

THIS is what actually bothers me about her- the inevitable hateful misogyny that will be cast on any women not like her. Creepy manosphere jerks are already ruining relationships, content like this just feels so much like the manosphere's and other misogynists' biggest fantasy. That's all she is for most humanity, because it's something barely anyone can afford. I guess excessive privilege in general gets really annoying, but I don't know her whole story. She's from Germany and as a German woman around the same age as Nara, I regretfully have to inform you that we are completely normal, quite feminist and an overwhelming majority of us are not mothers in our twenties at all and even if we were we'd still be part of the work force once parental leave is over. Believe me, I don't even dislike her but Nara Smith is not representative of young German women in the slightest.
This is her job now. She gets PAID! When does she really see her kids. Look at her! Makeup, nails, hair. All of that takes time. Cooking REALLY takes time as well as shopping!
I didn't understand the hate until she pulled out the names. I was like 'okay, making everything from scratch is excessive, but go off' then everything changed once she said the names of her kids.
@bunnywavyxx9524 yeah, I'm sure worried about the amount of bullying the kid will receive or how many people will turn down their application to either college or work because of their name, if they ever have to go through either of those processes/school. In the end, I know the kids will end up changing their name regardless, because honestly, who would want to be called that for their whole life?
@smolcrabbo I'd be really surprised if those kids ever have to fill out a job application. And if they go down their parents' path to be in the modeling/entertainment industry, the unique names would be seen a a good thing. I think that's why a lot of rich and famous people give their kids outlandish names.
I’ve seen her on TikTok and I genuinely thought her videos were a funny satire on those videos where women talk about making food from scratch because their demanding husband asked
She's promoting the "tradwife" lifestyle, which is FINE on it's own if it's chosen, but leads down a very slippery slope into other idealogies. Most of which are very popular in certain fundamentalist religions. The unique name thing is also VERY big/common in Mormon culture (10 different Joseph Smiths in one family gets a little confusing)
Also, much like most tradwife influencers, this is clearly all bullshit. Cooking cereal from scratch in the morning? The kids are either getting up WAY too early or eating breakfast at noon.
But that’s the thing she’s not. She’s not saying “YOU should do this. YOU should want this” She’s just like, “Yes I decided to be quirky and pretend my life is perfect”
lol nara discourse is always so funny to me. i was raised mormon and i'm also 22 (she is literally two months older than me), i'm fully on board with this being propaganda because mormons LOVE to push fast, young marriages. My sister just turned 20 and has been dating her boyfriend for a year, people were asking her at six months when she was going to get married. it also helps that nara is half black- she can be a sort of "poster child" for how "accepting" and not racist the church is. i frankly wouldn't be surprised if there is some kind of link between her and a media person within the church.
I feel bad for black Mormons honestly. Had a convo with a missionary which showed me the LDS is definitely still racist from a doctrinal perspective at least. I see these annoying recruitment ads and I think they're at least trying to recruit the lightskins now 😂 when did we stop being cursed??
But the thing is she has only referenced her faith in 2 vids out of all her vids, they were only a few second mentions. One where she reads her bible and the other about their Christmas celebrations. People already hated her before those vids
@@2law2beI think the issue is I’m begging more of us to have more media literacy. This is my issue. Folks feel as if propaganda has to be in your face, but that’s the weakest type of it. Good propaganda is sneaky. I’m not saying Nara represents Mormon propaganda by any means (I actually don’t think she does), but if you genuinely believe that someone needs to be proclaiming their Mormonism in every video in order to be linked to the church and trying to actively recruit….I have news for you. This is the entire basis behind sneaky advertising & marketing. And it’s precisely the kind of slippery slope online that’s led to the radicalization of young men who watch one TikTok and then find themselves weeks later on radical incel forums. Media literacy is key.
@@Neomie92 Not to be rude but please don't try to educate me on media literacy, which is something that doesn't even apply to Nara. She was hated before people found out about her faith. They used dumb excuses to justify their hate (her body, dresses, and clean kitchen). But her Mormonism became the #1 excuse once they found out about her faith. There are actual Mormon influencers on TikTok who don't receive the hate she gets. It ain't about her faith.
@@2law2beI mean it kinda is and on top of that she’s lying out of her ass for views. She said she wasn’t a hardcore Mormon but she is somewhat a Mormon and when she does mention it, it brings to light of “Oh! That’s why she does that”
I think the part that is so annoying is that it probably isn’t totally true. As a mom seems pretty impossible and borderline bad parenting to make your hungry toddler wait all that time to make them food. It’s one thing to prepare something for a few hours in anticipation for dinner or for fun but when your kid comes to you hungry.. that’s a small window before things get meltdowny
Would be funny if off screen she fed them the premade stuff. Maybe they do come asking for things and it gives her ideas for her next dish to make but she doesn't do it in the moment like she claims. Most of these things can be used multiple times too. Like she is making a whole loaf of bread and probably enough jam for multiple sandwiches, so if her children are always asking for that she could prepare it beforehand. Kinda like meal prep. Obviously it is the portrayal that is more the issue like you said.
@@squigglyspooch246 That’s pretty much what she does. Some of her vids about her kids asking her to make things which she takes 8 hours to cook from scratch are jokes.

Personally I do get bad vibes from her just for that reason but I'm not about to talk about how "terrible" she is She's just living a life and I'm going to leave her be
I think she’s annoying in the same way Kim Kardashian is annoying. Giving weird names to her kids, being extra in normal moments… ect. It feels inauthentic, like her whole life is scripted. Her videos make me feel like an episode of Black Mirror if that makes sense ? Although I do hear your opinion and it’s perfectly valid 🙌🏼💕 Just wanted you to see other people’s take on this. The bashing is unwarranted and not deserved at all of course.
See, that’s great and all, but she’s not “just living her life”. She’s scripting, filming, and editing her life. So even if she gets flack, she shouldn’t care, it’s all a persona anyway, because it’s all a scene

I agree that all of these traits are INFURIATING, but what's really making me make right now (and I'm only 13 min in) is that she's talking about making cereal and bread from scratch as if these things only take an hour or so to make. You have to let dough SIT FOR LIKE THREE HOURS. THIS IS AN ALL-DAY TASK. YOU CANT JUST MAKE A WHOLE LOAF OF BREAD FOR ONE SANDWICH FOR ONE MEAL.
the thing that bothers me about her is the fact that she promotes the idea of trad wives in light that isn’t true. it just bothers me that the videos she post are being viewed by young impressionable teenage girls who think this is what a trad wife lives like. it annoying to me that she is promoting something that she is not. mormon/trad wives do not have jobs, nara smith does she is a model and a influencer. if you look up videos on ‘ex trad wives’ on social media and they talk about their experiences IT IS NOTHING LIKE WHAT NARA SMITH POST ABOUT.
Yeah that’s my take on it too. She’s promoting a life path that isn’t real and when conservative men see that fantasy hot submissive SAHM on TikTok they tend to lose sight of today’s reality. It’s the effects of her content that people are bothered by, not her. Men are expecting more at home while their wife also brings in at least half the income and keep everyone’s lives running smoothly. It’s a predictable effect of the tradwife trend bc men don’t typically see it and consider the nuances, they just see what they like and go with it. **i mean most men in the Southern US, per my decade of experience dating them and having said unrealistic tradwife ideals demanded from me** so that’s why people are so critical of her. The trend Nara is a part of is likely affecting their lives in real time.
1.) A lot of Mormon women (even those with kids) are employed. 2.) She's using TikTok to make a living and that's great. 3.) I've never heard her claim to be a trad wife. Etc., etc. Honestly, I like her. I think she's creative and weird (in a good way). If her husband is annoyed that she's always making the cereal and what not from scratch, he can get off his a** and go grocery shopping.
@@naomiangel Have you watched all her videos? She’s made content about traveling without her kids, her influencer/modeling work, and how her and her husband split responsibilities in the house. The only trad thing about her content is cooking for her family. She’s not shaming other women for not being housewives (and she isn’t even one herself) or telling women how to live. She’s always been open about what she does for work, I don’t know why you’re acting like she’s hidden that.
I had no choice but to make much of my children's food from scratch due to a digestive condition my daughter had with sensitivity to many common ingredients in many pre-packaged foods. That said, I didn't do it 'on the spot' when they asked for it. I had a bread machine that did almost everything once I dumped ingredients in. I baked 4 loaves a week. I made other stuff ahead so it was on hand when needed. I had days of the week set aside for much of this work where my husband would watch the littles while I attended to, and HE took turns doing a lot of this, too. But to get up, make all the stuff on the spot? My kids would have been sobbing with hunger by the time the food was ready! That's so unrealistic.
Very! I appreciate your view here, you come across as someone who knows how hard that is (obviously) and how much it helped to have help. She seems like she would be judgemental to other moms who don't or can't do that, instead of understanding their situation.
@@twitchy_birdi think she is cosplaying to an extent and to present her life and a life like hers as aspiration, but like she's also a really rich woman so she has a grp of staff or resources to occupy her kids while she does this. I think it might be the mormon influencer urge to do so much and be like hey this is just my life to essentially sell her entire life as aspirational, in the u can have it all way and ure just lazy and its doable with some priorities like ur life shld be in the "backseat" for eg but its rewarding. Similar to ballerina farm who does similar stuff but she cosplays rancher, even brought her cow to a campsite. Like shes the crunchy nara smith with 10 kids.

@@chesiresays what? I literally said I don’t disagree, but people being nit picky about someone who’s content is literally about making food just because of her religion, which she doesn’t even push onto anyone is weird. Every religion is flawed and has questionable ideologies and past. Does that mean every creator who is religious should be bashed online and say they’re promoting cults.
Thank you for this. Constant internet discourse has made it damn near impossible to to just dislike something. People always feel like they have to make something "problematic", when they can just say its annoying or they don't like it
Sometimes its both, but i get kind of scared of influencers like her. Ballerina farm is another one, she literally popped out a kid and went on the pageant curcuit in a way that feels like im doing it all and u can too towards moms in her circle.

It comes from her Husbands family. Their name is Smith, so they chose the most unique first names to ‚offset’ the Smith bit. I guess Lucky just ran with it. But I agree with you. Slim Easy and Rumble Honey are TERRIBLE names. Imagine them growing up and wanting to become an accountant or lawyer 😂
@@AspienWaifuif her entire family and community and support network is in a cult and it is expected of her to get married before she can have sex, it is expected that she can’t date without intent to marry, then yes. It’s called coercion. There’s a reason why women in cults or cults masquerading as religions marry super young and start popping them out. Their education is not prioritised since it’s expected for the man to provide. They don’t often even have their own bank accounts or access to money. I can’t speak to the individual circumstances of this influencer.. but I can tell you that just because she is outwardly portraying contentment (she’s actively selling/pushing her lifestyle so of course she’s going to) doesn’t mean everything is fine or that she ever felt like she had any choice or power of her own to leave. Yall lets keep it real . Yall are jealous of this woman and her lifestyle. So many things on social media are for entertainment. So many things are problematic yet yall choose to be offended at a woman taking care of her family and making food... stop comparing yourself to people on social media . End of story
well yeah? whoever compares herself to her is dumb for doing so she’s a rich model why wouldn’t she have a nanny? she also doesn’t need to tell her audience if she has a nanny or not
do you need views so badly that as a grown man you need to hate on a woman who is very much enjoying her life ? it’s giving bored & worthless. If you had anything better you wouldn’t have made this video but you needed to because all you can do is talk about others rather than fixing yourself. Acting like you’re perfect when these people are happy & stable.
I genuinely don't see why ppl absolutely HATE her like she's done nothing wrong. I see that the names of her children are strange and she's a Mormon but she's not intentionally forcing ppl into her religion. She literally just looks pretty and cooks. What's so wrong with that?
It is perfectly okay to dislike someone for being in a racist, homophobic, misogynistic religion even if they seeming aren't publicly doing their own harm. They are complicit to horrific crazy ass beliefs and the glamorization of the lifestyle. Not saying she needs to stop or leave the internet or do anything like that but I think it's fair people dislike her for this
The thing is, she likely has a house cleaner and a nanny when she does this stuff and she has some crazy need to fill time and to be perfect. Idk on Tik Tok someone made a perfect breakdown of it.
I love how you make content. Your genuinely critiquing another content creator without exploiting them and on top of that your actually FUNNY genuinely. And the vibe your getting im seeing it now too, she gives stepford wives vibes to the max. If you haven’t seen that movie PLEASE watch it, it exposes so much about society and how men and woman will do the most to be sought after.
She’s honestly not doing anything crazy, there are plenty Mormon influencers that don’t get THIS much hate and they are actively promoting that bullshit.. I think Twitter users just need to relax and realize not everyone on the internet is a good person and leave it be, I don’t find her annoying at all but I wish the best for her kids. People would be eating this up if she was famous.. (This mostly seems nitpicky and for once Cooper’s take doesn’t align with mine, OTHER than the mormon shit. Maybe just delete tiktok and twitter already)
@@ChiquiRatas i rlly like watching her videos, they are very calming and i dont align to any religion. She does not promote any of it she just literally says what she does in her morning… i fr dont align with his opinion this time, plus i dont think shes doing anything wrong. Its just her life😭😭
I’m glad I found some people who feel the same as me. I’ve always liked watching her videos when they come on my fyp. It never came across as uptight or looking down on others. It just seems like she likes making stuff from scratch
I feel like people don’t like her because she’s not relatable? Maybe people dislike her because of wealth people can’t relate to it and so it turns into envy?
Uh. Wealth doesn't make most people act like this woman, at all. The wealthy moms I have known in my life would find her just as insufferable. It is a lack of relatability but it's not the wealth. Idk why people always have to claim it's envy when people find a person intolerable. To envy a person you generally need to admire them. People love watching content from creators they envy. It's just her attitude that rubs people the wrong way (moms especially) and I don't think anyone needs to assign any other meaning to it.
Never made bread. But watched my grandma make jam when i was a kid. Trust when i say it takes hours. (Needs to cook at low heat for a while + needs to sit and cool for a few hours afterwards, so the toddler can starve ig)
I think the hate towards her is unnecessary because on the internet if you don't make homemade food for your kids you're a bad mum but if you do then you're just a fake showoff, people just can't win in society just let the girl live her life if you find her annoying there's a block button. (But I will say she done her kids dirty and maybe sometimes people should not be able to name their kids)
She just cooks for her kids from scratch and ppl get jealous but idk for me it doesn’t even seem that out of the blue bc my mom cooks like this all the time
@@sw4ggynutz466 she’s an “influencer” her whole job is to monetize herself for others. She’s performing every aspect of her life. If you actually think this isn’t all thought out with a team behind it, I feel deep pity for you. Also, I stopped caring as soon as I finished watching this video. Stop replying to me. I am not jealous of her morning *routine. I like grit, I like real. I don’t care for the luxury garbage she thinks she’s better for using.
The reason people hate her imo is because everyone these days seems to base their worth on how "successful" they are and success to them is being defined as having lots of money, being hot and being aesthetically pleasing. Cooper even said in the video "people watch her and feel worthless" because that's what the media pushes to young people every single day. That this is success and this is what everyone should strive for and if they don't they've done nothing with their life and they're worthless.
More than that i think its also the uncanny valley energy that she exudes, which is very influenced by religious influencers which is where theyre like you can do it too; and its aspiration. For some people, esp women who arent afforded femininity in our current system, its an escapist content to see someone like u live a life ure not afforded, that i understand and am happy for. However, her videos are very much like i can do it and u can too, and in a world of mom shaming and her religious bg, those with similar context to her might feel pressured and also feel bad esp with the constant standard.
I feel like this the most accurate analysis. She's not doing anything particularly new in regards to her content. She's not the first woman to curate an aesthetically pleasing lifestyle for social media or make food from scratch. Her voice, while nice to listen to, isn't uniquely soft and soothing either. It's the atmosphere around her videos that is the problem. The more people make her aspirational and a model for all women, especially when said people are men, the more hate she will receive. The fact that she's Mormon and teethers on the edge of tradwife content doesn't help either. And they're right. She's not aspirational (though it's not wrong to be inspired by her to make more foods at home). There are very few people if any on Earth who should be aspired to. If her community was a lot less "this is what a REAL woman looks like" and more "that looks nice! I should start making my own recipes too!," no one would be debating about her this much. As a side note, I think there might also be some misogynoir mixed in there because she seems to be a lot more hated and talked about than even some genuine tradwife influencers. That and the fact that she married young to everyone's rich, attractive Tumblr/Wattpad crush from the 2000s/2010s definitely drummed up some haters.
@@UMMH2000DING DING DING !! I don’t see how someone living a privileged life & minding their business is bad?? Like I’m sorry you don’t get to do that.. but how is it her fault that she does? Bc mothers all over the world struggle she should too? And im sure she does struggle, it’s her choice to put it on the internet or not tho?
The problem with this situation really starts with people just taking content like this too personally. Is her lifestyle unrealistic? Sure. But uhm she’s a model. And so is her husband. Obviously how they live is going to be vastly different than the rest of us. She has never said that what she does makes her a better mom and that she should be the standard. If you watch content like this and feel that way, that is a personal issue. You can’t go through life comparing yourself to someone who lives that differently than you.. I’m sorry but like cope?
Nah, i disagree. She’s v obnoxious. There’s other models and influencer moms who also have vastly different lifestyle, however most of them aren’t as frustrating as her. It’s all about the “tone” in which you convey your content/material. There’s something very artificial about her and that’s irking everyone.
I don’t think she’s getting criticism because she dresses up a lot. It’s that she’s trying to imply she makes food from scratch like that on demand, with no pre planning/pre making. It’s silly she claims “my kids woke up and said they wanted cereal for breakfast, so I made it from scratch…” then proceeds to show herself make it from scratch & then give it to her kids. That’s the unrealistic part. It’s very common for people to make food from scratch, but it’s typically planned in advanced lol
Why are yall hating on her so much 😭 like what's wrong with wanting to cook from scratch. And besides most of these are JOKES and she shouldn't actually be taken seriously 😭 like I would kill for that life..just leave her be god damn..
See, I've seen women that make content exactly like this but its fully satire. Im still not fully convinced this isn't satire too. Just humor so dry you can't even tell its supposed to be a joke.
I'm a mother with a new born, just gave birth a week ago, feeling sore, can't sleep and not looking my best and I LOVE Nara. I don't celebrate mediocrity which is a privilege the majority of her haters have enjoyed - being celebrated for their mediocrity simply because they belong to a certain demographic. Nara is a Goddess and is harmless at best.
She has said it a lot of times HERSELF that she's a content creator and that's one of her sources of income ( along with modelling) when asked about their work. She's just doing her job. The problem os people can't differentiate Reality from Content. Some start calling her a goddess, glorifying her. While some start attacking her for her beliefs or routine. We can give a ted talk to people on how to browse content and not take everything seriously. It is sad tho the way Political content gets Shadowbanned, while these tradwives content are being pushed through Algorithm. In a nutshell, I Hate Tiktok. Not the influencers.
Right! I was one of the people who find her content quite odd, while oddly wishing i had her ability to make stuff from scratch. Aside from that people are taking this hate so far, when she's just someone just doing content. I really do get why people would quite to point out it's because of belief, but I have never seen her made a video talking about her religion, or anything! She even likes comments that say that 😂, it's well obvious that Nara knows what people are saying and she frankly couldn't care less.
@@Vixen1000 yeah. She's quite unproblematic as someone with a million views ,coz I've never seen her beefing with her Followers . She makes the content and get the 💰. However, I don't watch her videos to protest against Tiktok for shadowbanning and censoring Other creators.
i think part of it is that fact that SHES purposefully blurring the lines between content and reality by pretending like she actually spends 5 hours on a pb&j for her kids breakfast. obviously we know it’s fake but it’s disingenuous of her to make a brand pretending otherwise.
@@hello_world2767girl obviously she’s not acutally doing that like huh? Use ur head. There’s no way u thought she was fr doing that? All cook tok tik tokers do litterally what she does. Why is SHE the only one getting hate?

The way she names her kids reminds me of my ex-friend. I said her kid would get bullied, have no friends, and have difficulties getting a job cuz we lived in Texas. She looked me dead in the eye and said "I don't care about any of that" RIP Azrael/Azazel, prayers that Rumble Honey and Slim Easy find themselves in your class 🙏
15:38 I do not believe it's the husband that watches the kids, they must have a in house baby sitter, even when the mom is there, so the kids can find her whenever they want, but they aren't trying to drag her to play, because they have the babysitter that will not only play, but also have responsibility for them.
As a 21 mother of 3 I feel validated in you mentioning how she makes us feel, especially afterhaving a baby. My youngest is 9 months with severe chronic issues so the tim id have to take from her to make EVERYTHING from scratch for my 2 and 3 yr old id never have time for my youngest. Doesnt mean i dont put the baby in a papoose (think of it like a front or back wearing "baby wearing backpack") and cook a badass homecooked meal. But I do not neglect my children of my attention and leave them on their dad for cooking nor social media. Thats the main issue i see with her.
There is no issue as leqving them on their dad... and making a living out of social media... I don't see when or where she would acc neglect her children. But hey we don't live with her som🤷♀️

it’s based in their reality. you can’t
tell people who are way richer and far more successful than you, what “reality” is. they shop in stores you’d never see cause they aren’t in your broke mall!

Apparently people have found evidence of her claiming to be 22 for longer than a year, which isn’t really surprising if you’re a model because it’s hard to keep that job past 30, so lying about being in your early 20s for a while extends the workable time frame before you’re out of a job

It’s the air of superiority combined with the fact that she clearly has staff at home doing other things. Someone who ACTUALLY cooks from scratch and is a homemaker could NEVER have the time for what she does; but the rich roleplaying as working class is nothing new.

Like they never post videos of them cleaning the house, getting a difficult stain out of a shirt or doing chores that actually constitute to taking care of the home.

Right she prob has the nanny taking care of the kids so she can do this. That’s fine and all but like cooper says it’s the way she frames it as simple
yeah like how can a fricking printed paper (made by humanity) have so much value, grant so much privileges and literally _control the whole world_ (said humanity included, ofc)⁉️
I agree. I don't feel any hate, happy she has the financial stability she has for her family. She's giving something she can to her family, more power to her if it's all real.
none of that has anything to do with her. you’re projecting. you’re bitter.

thats where i know him from!!
The way my first thought when I saw him was "So HE'S the guy on wattpad"
HE HAS FOUR KIDS, I’m shocked
Maybe she doesn't cook herself every meal for everyone but in her video she's just specifies "they asked me so I tried to do it" sometimes igs just funnier and healthier from scratch too
She's not promoting anything or saying her lifestyle is the best and people not making food from scratch with a full face qnd nice clothes are the worst parents on earth. @@liabstrait8306this is the third time you’ve been in the comments about making your toddler homemade yogurt- kind of seems like you have a touch of the pick me disease the TikTok lady has.
It's the attitude

But she doesn't fit the "tradwife" lifestyle because she works.
Alot of traditional women are Christian which is completely different from mormonisim.
you don’t have to be religious to be a housewife how are people this dumb
Maybe her husband should go grocery shopping

the thing that bothers me about her is the fact that she promotes the idea of trad wives in light that isn’t true. it just bothers me that the videos she post are being viewed by young impressionable teenage girls who think this is what a trad wife lives like. it annoying to me that she is promoting something that she is not. mormon/trad wives do not have jobs, nara smith does she is a model and a influencer. if you look up videos on ‘ex trad wives’ on social media and they talk about their experiences IT IS NOTHING LIKE WHAT NARA SMITH POST ABOUT.
She isn't a trad wife nor promotes it. She's a model and an influencer that happens to enjoy cooking from scratch. She has two jobs.
@@Angel-rn9jj have you watched all of her videos?

Idk why people always have to claim it's envy when people find a person intolerable. To envy a person you generally need to admire them. People love watching content from creators they envy.

@@sayeemoooThat was a lot of words for “I’m jealous of her”
I don’t think she’s getting criticism because she dresses up a lot.
