CT please note that there is no provision for an opposition under the 2010 Constitution. There is nothing unconstitutional about nominating CSs from a group whose status is not even mentioned in the Constitution. There is no opposition and there isn't supposed to be any.

The celebrations coming from ' the benefiting ' parts of the country indicate either we are still not all on the same page on the need for change of doing things in government or tribal representation is still a big priority for some.

I think Raila has been frustrated for many years with the politics such that he doesn't care about saying one thing to the crowd, and doing totally the opposite. If you can't beat them, join them. They have now become a problem with Ruto and his government. That Mkate temptation is like the fruit in the garden of Eden. Can't resist the bite. We know the end of the story...

We say we "Hiyo ni siasa"! And do you recall what Winston Churchill said each time he was caught speaking an untruth? He said "Eating my own words has never given me constipation"! With politicians, keenly watch their actions. Their words don't matter and they eat them all the time.

Let have everyone come out to vote in 2027. Because the reason these politicians do not care about people is they know most of young and the educated who can easily question them doesn’t vote. Am afraid to say, if we do not vote with anger the same will continue. I drove for 50km to go and vote in 2022. Voter apathy is what put Ruto there, maybe Raila would have been the same. Now we know, we knew but it has been demonstrated with examples. Kama hatujaona then we are the problem. Let everyone have an ID and vote. Thats the only way we can change the country.

I was watching celebrations around the country and what came to mind is the Stockholm syndrome.
Most of those celebrating, lets be honest are the poor, am not trying to be classist, but look at the poverty level in the coast, many years of bad leadership has caused nothing but misery. Its a wonder they don't see it. Nakwambia, it is disappointing.

That's not how it works. Being a minority whip or even majority whip is not fixed. Parties nominate their own parliamentary whips. Another minority whip will be nominated by ODM.
The anger I am feeling right now is unbearable. I will make sure I channel it in advocating for youths to take identity cards and vote in the next election. It's painful to just watch the people elected to just do their work regroup and ready to fight a common citizen. I find Kenyan politicians to be disgusting.

i have lost hope for this country. we had a great opportunity to change this country but the president decided things will still remain the same. i urge all youths{15million of us} in the country to take ids and come out in large numbers in 2027 and vote in a youthful leader who will align with our demands. Absolutely correct. Gachagua was waiting in the wings for Gen Z's to push Ruto out of office for him to demand (and quite rightly) that Article 144, 145 and 146 be applied which would have seen him assume the office of the President without a drop of sweat.
