@Flyyyy Yeah because you don't need any strength when you use a shirt, it does all the work for you and that's why everyone who uses these benches at least 1000lbs..
@LRGHMN There's really no reason to down-talk equipped lifters. I personally don't like equipment but if you think the weight is somehow moving itself you should try a shirt on just once and see what you can press.
Dave, Please turn off the comments on this video and any other video dealing with gear. If you lift raw, great. If you use gear, great. I don't understand why raw lifters would even worry about commenting on a video about bench shirts. Enjoy what you do and let others do the same.
70% of the people bitching around about gear didn't bench-, squat- or deadlift even once with gear, guess arent even competing at powerlifting challenges, the remaining 30% are powerlifters that dont get anything out of the gear because they are unabled to use it... A reason why many top lifters get so much out of the gear, is that they are doing a specialized training. If they would only train for raw strength the gap between their raw and equipped lifts would be much closer.
@Flyyyy Really, dude? People still feel the need to make comments like this? It's not as if there is ONE federation, and raw lifters are competing against geared lifters. If you don't want compete in gear, you certainly don't have to. But, the truth is, you've never stepped on a platform anyway...you don't have the balls to. You're just a poser. You've likely spent more time today, clacking away, making snarky comments from behind your keyboard, than you have ever spent under a barbell.
@1jumbie damn! first off you write "pretty stupid". second, have you ever tried using a shirt? most likely not because you would start crying from the first second of shirt bite shirt bite and your little wrists would hurt from the extra weight. third if you hate shirted benching why the hell would you go to a vid about a damn bench shirt????
Ok, people lift raw and with gear, tested or untested. There are different ways to lift. You choose which one you want to use and use it. Ok so what if people take extra supplemtents. I would like to see you get under over 1000lbs on bench with a shirt on, then tell me with a straight face " That the shirt does all the work." That's why there are Records. If you are that tough and want to talk so much, figure it out for yourself. No reason to be stupid over this.
powerlifting is such a weak sport, infact it's not even a sport. There are people in the NFL and pro rugby players who aren't that far of the same strength as these guys yet they can run 40 yd in 4 seconds and compete hard for more than one second
looks like a life preserver :/

That shirt looks fuckin knarly! Is the sizing of the jack similar to the Ace?

@customxspunjah Are you an equipped lifter or do you just live vicariously through them. You got nothing except a comment .............
Who picked out the color ??

@customxspunjah Been there done that ........
If you think an equipped lifter wouldn't whip your ass raw you might want to think again
@Flyyyy AGREE!!! I think it pretty stupid to bench whit a shirt, the shirt lifters only fool them self xD
GANGSTA GANGSTA! But yeah, imo, the "gear" doesn't really show ur true strength, but to each his own
Why must people pick a fight on a youtube video? Some lift equipped. Some lift raw. Deal with it and move on.
