Finally you have an Asterix in the show. You are going to love it, Dominick. I own all of them and love all of them. It’s the funniest and smartest written comic ever with a lot of layers and great art. I really hope you love it and jump on the Asterix train. 👏🏻🤩

@@TheComicBookReportAsterix, the Gaul, is the first one , I think, but you can just jump in where you want to. Asterix in Belgium (because I am Belgian)😂 and Asterix in Brittain are awsome. Both laugh with the cliches and stereotypes that excist towards Belgians and British people. Asterix, the Legionary and the Banquet are also my favorites. You actually can’t go wrong. I have never read a bad one. Even the new ones, without Goscinny and Uderzo, are great.

Whoa! There’s a classic Thundercats backup story in that Johnny Quest book?! I am so going to enjoy reading that one! Just finished reading that Flash Gordon. A very well written story that you’re going to enjoy.
I didnt plan on going out to FCBD but i landed at a comic store and ended up catching an amazing deal on sale/loeb batman omni and the planetary omni for a steal.
It’s typically the first Saturday in May :) Their website has a way to check the nearest comic shops that host the event every year. I believe I tagged videos I did for previous years FCBD if you want more content about the event. Always a fun day! 📚📚📚📚

My LCS had the Frank Miller Daredevil omnibus on a buy one get one half off deal, so free comic day ended up being expensive comic day for me
