As a new player I would take advantage of pick and roll switches on offense. If they're small guy is on your big in the paint, take your time and give him the ball. If you're not wide open I wouldn't bother with threes bc you don't have any lights out shooters on your team for the most part. Anthony Edwards has an odd release in 2K btw the timing is strange. Gotta really practice his release.

What I would do is trade either Jalen Green or Anthony Edwards for a good big man that’ll help with scoring inside, rebounding and defense and move Yurtseven to the bench to be the big man for that grouping. That way you can have more balanced scoring and not have to rely on your outside shooting so much because in 2K that can be up and down.

If you wanna off ball all game i would suggest usering the center, for one hes pretty solid and two it allows you to control the paint and gran the rebounds avioding the other team getting rebounds on offense
Td since you offball on defense play the passing lanes . It’s like user lurking but jus in 2k . Act like you playin help defense but stay in the passing lanes and jus press square

I don’t really get how trading works in 2k but if it’s possible u should try trading for a player with a high 3 pt rating even a low ovr player with high 3 pt Bc u really need a perimeter scorer
