My wife and I bought a home in the heart of GVR South and it’s absolutely paradise. Walking distance to the district and the new hockey arena being built. Best parks and neighborhoods in all of Las Vegas. Can’t imagine living anywhere else.

@@SeanUyehara A population booming Boise, Idaho. Moved here as a teen from SoCal about 14 years ago. Ive never really liked living here being an urban kid but at least it used to be cheap as dirt to live here and super quiet. But with so many people moving here my house is almost worth twice as much as I bought it for 3 years ago and traffic is legitimately worse than Las Vegas thanks to the city being totally unprepared for the pop moving in. I also kinda miss being able to go to the beach, diverse food choices, and entertainment amenities so Henderson seemed like the absolutely perfect middle ground between where I live now and a big CA city. I can’t believe the houses in Boise are more expensive than there!

Henderson seems like a really nice place.The three major concerns for me would be the massive heat in the summer.
The lack of green,the land scape is just so very brown. The lack of water security is a serious issue for me.
Look into North Nevada instead. Sparks doesn’t get as hot

I love Inspirada . It’s a unique neighborhood feel like you are in Italy...the name of the streets are in Italian and don’t forget to check out one and only Romano cafe, Tony is the owner. Tony’s cafe give a nice touch to the neighborhood.

Love this! We’ve recently added Henderson to our home search filter. Great neighborhoods for sure.... LOVE Green Valley and I also really like the Seven Hills area there.

Great question, I would personally go with Inspirada. I think its a better overall location and will be more desirable in the future

What’s your opinion about GibsonSpring, I’m moving to Cornerstone Park Apartment. I don’t know how safe the area is?
Lived in Gibson Spring for 2 years. Love the area, close to all shopping, lots of parks, restaurants and easy to access interstate. Crime can occur anywhere, however I’ve had no issues and feel safe here.
Its a great part of town, pretty convenient area
What's the better choice ? New home or resale ? Is the interest rate the same ?
I think it just depends on what you qualify for as far as financing goes and what you are looking for in a home. Interest rates are the same as far as buying a resale vs. a new build

Great question Adrian, no if its your primary residence, depending on the loan amount you can do as little as 3-5% down

Yes that's a good part of town. I've had some friends live in the area in the past

Hi Sarah, it depends on the builder. Some are 6-8 months out and some can be as long as 18 months
