The original ceramic decorations on pagaodas of Wat Arun were made from fragments of broken chinaware, exquisitely cut into shapes.
Sadly they are falling off after decades in sun and rains and being replace with factory made pieces probably bacause poeple nowadays are not as patience as the ancients.
