I think her proportions are actually a lot better than the male essentials and they look better than the prototype. But holy forking shirtballs, that face! She’s giving me a Sloth from Goonies vibe. Mama Fratelli definitely dropped her more than once. Yikes. Also eff that noise with no ankle rocker. But great review nonetheless.
My wife is a huge Harley fan but we both saw this one in person and did not care for it at all. That face is such a deal breaker. The icons one is the best one overall

Very nice figure. I also chose the DC Icons Harley which I paired up with my Multiverse white suit Dark Knight Returns Joker. I do like this figure but she would be too tall next to my Joker.
I'm kinda shoked about the messed up face. I have lots of dc collectibles figures: designer series, animated, bombshells, never ever had an issue with the faces. they all look absolutely devine. I'm only interessted in the Cheetah and maybe Supergirl from the Essentials Line and truly hope this is an isolated incident... thanks Brad for all the DC figure reviews (not to many out here) usally it's all Marvel Legends. Looking forward to Batgirl and Joker reviews. keep up the good work.
Thanks! Yeah, I tend to get sloppy paint on many of mine. Keep in mind too that I put my faces under a macro lense so we see it all. No flaws can hide and all his laid bare. Sad thing is that a long time ago DCD had near perfect facial paint applications and now it’s a bit of a gamble for me. Nightwing was really good though.

It looks like a good figure, but wonky face aps make me pause to order it. If they sold it locally so that i could find one with a good face no problem. Having a paint smudge here or there or a slight misalignment happens but to mess up the face totally ruins the figure for me.

I just saw this figure in person at a local speciality shop. Woof, that face is fugly and that collar makes her neck look weird. The Icons version is still the best IMO. Good job on the review though. Take care!
this looks like it is a completely different line lol she actually looks proportioned without gorilla arms still doesn't change the fact that i like the essentials since i'm a sucker for dc figures of all kinds its a problem lol
Brad The DC Universe Geek i haven't picked up the Shazam or Nightwing and Harley yet because since most of mines necks snapped i'd rather wait and get them when they are cheaper in case they snap again
I do wish that this wasnt a classic suit. The essentials is more or less based on all of the rebirth designs. I kinda feel like it was a cop out lazy move to do the jester suit. But all good I guess.

I went to 3 different comic shops to try to find a good paint job for Harley and all 3 figures had awful paint jobs on the face. Granted I'm a huge DC fan but the messed up face paint on this Harley Quinn DC Essentials figure is unacceptable. I'll probably pass on the figure. I just hope they get my girl Batgirl's paint job right.
Man, I'm not sure about getting this one. I would have to completely repaint her face because it looks terrible. But I have the Arkham Knight Harley and she's the same size as this one with a better paint job and sculpt but lacking in articulation. These DC essentials have been a little disappointing that's why I've only bought 2 Batman and Superman. 🤨
I really like the Arkham version too but like you the lack of usual energy articulation (in the legs) is what makes it hard for me to put her on top. It’s so hard to pose her.
The hips movie forward and in and out. Not the gron its a person tick i have after hearing every eles says the legs or hips. Just personal feed back. Other then that great video.
I've seen multiple essentials Harley's and all of the faces look atrocious. I'd have to switch heads. But the rest of the figure equals my favorite jester Harley yet.

I pre ordered this Harley but the face is terrible.
What kills it is a the paint deco quality. We can see that the eyes just went so wrong compared to the promotional version.
