The CLS 4 Door Coupe is without a doubt one of its most appealing design. Certainly more so than the conventionally shaped E-Class with which it shares a platform. However, that's of little consolation to the people who actually have to sit in the back seats. They complain about the compromised headroom and oddly-shaped door openings that make getting in and out a chore. The back seat are great for the average height person and kids! How many people are going to sit in the back any ways right?
The inside is immaculate and where you'll find a gorgeous layout trimmed napa leather and open pore wood trim. There isn't a cheap looking or feeling surface to be found, with even the door panel pockets lined with fabric. Deep bolstering and support in all the right places are further reasons why the front seats are the best ones in this car -- and that's before you get to the heated massage functions.
Further raising the passenger coddle factor is an Energizing Comfort system that offers selectable moods that adjust things like the climate, air fragrance, lighting, music and massaging seats in an attempt to create a certain ambience. At night, the 64-color ambient lighting is quite a sight, covering a good amount of the car's interior. There are even lights inside the air vents that turn blue if you adjust the temperature to be cooler, changing to red if you crank up the heat.
The most impressive bit of CLS technology is the mild hybrid drivetrain. It starts with a new, 3.0-liter, inline six-cylinder engine that makes 362 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Add to that there's a 48-volt alternator and electric motor that provides an additional 21 horsepower and 184 pound-feet, to help get the car moving off the line and power accessories when stopped. Combined with a nine-speed automatic transmission, this combination gets the CLS450 0-60 in just 5 Seconds. The package seamlessly integrates electric propulsion for linear power delivery as the gearbox rips off well-timed and imperceptible shifts.

I see what Mercedes is doing they have a full range of cars unlike all other manufacturers that give you less choices. The CLS and CLA are stylish, pillarless four-door coupe’s, while the A class C class and S class are traditional sedans of different sizes. Also there is a full range of convertibles that are also different sizes and a full range of crossovers along with high end sports cars. Gotta love Mercedes Benz!
I would like to see a comparison between the Mercedes Benz 2021 CLS 450 and the 2021 CLS AMG 53, both the exterior and the interior. Especially, any differences on the exterior.

I’m thinking of getting this car when my E class lease is up. Just debating if it’s worth not getting the E450 over the CLS though.
i have had the 2018 e400 and just got the 2019 cls 450. the cls is definitely the better car overall but it still boils down to preference just because you can get all the same stuff in both. the e class feels bigger and allows the driver to sit even lower, also feels more isolated from the road. But the CLS 450 feels like another level above and is way more attractive exterior wise. The drive is also more connecting to the road than the e class but still maintains the floatiness even with 20" wheels. They are both truly dramatic driving experiences

I have those headlight but noticed other have different ones. What’s the big difference? Year or are there different headlight options?
I’m not quite sure. Maybe adaptive headlights are different since there’s movement with the lens. I don’t think this had it. A lot of new models of Mercedes-Benz have it now.
I have the 2019 cls450 amg package with those exact headlights. Are they the older model lights? I guess that’s what I’m trying to figure out.
The other head lights are high beam led and they are larger, while yours are only led head lights.

Better then S class? Don't get me wrong it's a nice looking ride but S class has always been the top Mercedes, in terms of status ultimate luxury and comfort the S class is what you would find a Ceo or successful buisness owner driving.

It's a tarted up E-class. If you look beyond fascia it's basically an E-class, it's a sexy ride though!

The main reason why the CLS 450 is better than the E450 is simply due to the engine: the CLS has the new R6, while the E-Class has the age-old V6 with much higher consumption.

Depends on ya style of driving. Won't b mad either way. Get the srt then get the cls to appreciate it but this is the cls last year of production

Yes a CLS 53. It’s an inline turbo 6 cylinder engine with an electric ⚡️ motor.
Not in 2023 tho, just cls 450 4matic

Im on my second one i had a 450 2019 for 4 yrs and im currently in my 2023 cls53 only issue i've had is the burble (exhaust sound) dissapearing when its very cold out and its a common amg issue
