Hey thanks for this video. I bought this ladder 3 years ago never bothered to fit. The instruction manual came with this gone missing. This video became super handy!
Just fitted this useful, lightweight ladder. Take note that drilling/screwing the top anchor/sliding brackets may not be quite so easy. Depending on the height of the ceiling, the ladder may extend beyond the loft opening, which means the top of the ladder gets in the way of drilling the pilot holes straight, or/and using a power driver to insert the screws. It is possible, but might be fiddly. Also note that the video shows the bracket for the V shape guide arm is screwed into plywood, not the underlying (weaker) chipboard. A very useful little ladder, much better than lugging around large step ladder to get into the loft!
Just fitted one from Screwfix (Kingfisher brand who also own B&Q). Looks identical to this ladder apart from the end stops which are metal not plastic The star washers were the opposite; sloppy fit, so I had to add an end caps to ensure the washer wouldn't fall off. Otherwise a useful, light, occasional use ladder.

Thanks for the helpful video 👍🏻
Thanks mate
I like the way he just slips on the star washers. Mine are as tight as a virgin's gusset, they are impossible to put on. Really not impressed.

Do you have to have a trap door? Mine is just a piece of wood what I lift in and out?
