I like this because it is beginner friendly! At first, I thought I might like the alternate layout you showed, but (for me) the trellis layout gives a little something extra that I like more - I’d probably make both in the end 🤭 Thanks for this awesome freebie, Krista!
This is fantastic! Every pattern you create is so interesting. You directions are incredible! I always look forward to your next adventure. Thank you🙏❤️
You are such a talented young lady ! i'm a beginner quilter and just subscribed to you channel as you give such great instructions. Very beautiful quilt indeed.
9:34 yay I have the mini. Was hoping you’d give a way to use. Bc I hate quilt math. But I think it was easy enough to follow along and mimic the cuts 🎉 thx
You can use the mini for the smaller blocks! And you might find the blogs helpful with the cutting dimensions listed in them. (links in this videos description box).
Thank you krista for sharing this beautiful quilt with us, I have a question, when you're making the smaller block you used the small diamond ruler, can I use the large ruler for the small diamond quilt?
I wish you showed how you cut the striped fabric for us newbies. I guess to get the 2 types of stripe, you would make two kinds of cuts to the wof? One the wider dimension and the other the narrower one?
It really depends on how many blocks you want to make and how big of a quilt you are hoping for... I did do a couple blogs that have more details about this, but there isn't an official pattern or anything. @@kristamoser thank you for taking time to reply :-) I do appreciate that! I actually really had read both of the blogs and realized that there was not a pattern as well. I will just have to calculate🤪I was just interested specifically in the small one and the larger one you had made as a gauge in buying fabrics amounts for those- you have an amazing gift for creative ideas!! I have both rulers and love your creativity!
The larger one has more things you can do with it because it has all the sizes... but the mini one is super fun to use and you can do quite a bit with it too!
Thank you Krista Moser. I’m trying the small first to see how much I will use it. There is a cute Diamond quilt from Shabby Fabrics, that uses a layer cake. I will try that first!
I used about a yard and a half of the flower a yard of the stripe... and about a half yard of the two greens. I did include the measurements in the blog though, so maybe that will be more helpful to crunch numbers.
Perfect beach quilt. The peach and teal are great. I always take one for my grandson at the beach. Thank you. Love it. ❤️ You are amazing.
How fun Pamela!! Yes, it has such a summer vibe to it.
Your ideas are so refreshing and you do such a great job of explaining how to achieve them. You are wonderful, Krista, and I'm so happy I found you!!
Awww! Thank you so much for the kind note Jenny!!
The pink with green quilt is so cute. I love the scalloped border!
Thank you Donna! Scallops make everything so cute!
Oh my groceries! I LOVE this! You never cease to amaze me!
Hahaha! Thank you Karen!

It's the trellis! I love them both, but you are right, the trellis adds so much more!
What a great use for striped fabric. Thanks for sharing.....and your cheerful presence!

Love this design. Thanks for sharing this pattern it's beautiful and thanks for always showing different ways to use our 60 degree rulers.
I am always surprised to find new ways to use these rulers! It just never ends :)
This is a great pattern and such a different look just by moving the blocks a bit. Thank you!
Isn't that crazy?! I love how you can get such a different look.

Another beautiful quilt of which I’m going to make. I live in the UK and my husband imported your large ruler for Christmas, I haven’t put it down 😊

I enjoy you so much. I also have gotten my ruler. I can't wait to start. Thank you
:) Thank you for the encouraging note Patricia!!
Fun pattern and the scallop border makes it though wouldn't use it to make a boy quilt.
I think scallops make everything awesome! But you are right... maybe not for a boy! Haha!
Krista, wow another great design/pattern project to add to my list, thank you❣️
You are so welcome Linda!!
I love the idea! Will have to give it a try.
I hope you do Diane!!
Hi Krista! Love, love them both but maybe like the aqua/orange version better 💗💗
I haven't fully finished it yet, but I love how fun it is turning out!
How cool!! Ready to try this one!

Yay!! Have so much fun!
Great pattern ideas🥰
Thank you Leticia!
❤❤❤❤❤
I love the floral fabric! I was hoping you would tell us the name!? Great pattern! I love the finished quilt!
Isn't that beautiful! That is an old Michael Miller fabric from like 2014... it is called Tallulah. You might still be able to find it online though!
Thank you krista for sharing this beautiful quilt with us, I have a question, when you're making the smaller block you used the small diamond ruler, can I use the large ruler for the small diamond quilt?
You sure can! It has all the lines you will need for that and even smaller sizes if you wish.
Do you have a fabric kit for the green and orange?
No, I'm sorry! That was all stash stuff and just whatever little bits I had to use up.
I wish you showed how you cut the striped fabric for us newbies. I guess to get the 2 types of stripe, you would make two kinds of cuts to the wof? One the wider dimension and the other the narrower one?
At 5:22 time she shows how she cut the stripe fabric;)
You'll find a great picture blog I did explaining exactly what to do for those blocks (link is in the description box of this video)
Where did you find your beautiful fabric?
I found that at Over The Rainbow (online shop). It is an old collection, so they may not have anymore.
Are there fabric requirements available for these quilts? I love them!!

The large diamond ruler will cut up to 8 1/2" diamonds.

One of my favorites! Learning about triangles.❤
How much of each fabric did you use? 😊
