    Being thankful for what GOD has blessed you with is always important. Never comparing youself to the next. Everyone is unique in your own way. Thats what make us individuals. Lovely video.

    I hate how people use the term good hair. Exactly what hair type is good hair? I think all hair is good if it's not falling out and is healthy. Curl pattern or texture has nothing to do with it.

    • @oxrea
      @oxrea 9 років тому +12

      Bc...people define "good hair" as in what is appealing in THEIR eyes...lol

    • @pecclez
      @pecclez 9 років тому +17

      ReaReaa
      It amazes me that we haven't come that far at all because we still are bound by the old ideas of what constitutes acceptable "Black" appearance. My daughter took her engagement pictures last week and her WHITE co-worker said to her that it was a pity she didn't straighten her hair for the pictures! She wears her hair natural every day, they have never seen her any other way. So, the "good hair" construct is not just a black person's hang-up, especially when everyone else seem to be jumping on that band wagon as well!

    • @oxrea
      @oxrea 9 років тому +9

      pecclez well it all started with/because of white people....so no surprise there.

    • @pecclez
      @pecclez 9 років тому +6

      ReaReaa I should not be surprised. But to come out with it to her face with no shame. My daughter put her straight though. So she was schooled on what she could do with her ideas and comments on OUR hair!

      @brijanellemusic 9 років тому +6

      Well that's exactly what I mean when I say "good hair"... Hair that's taken care of... It's self explanatory to me because good hair doesn't exclude a race. People with good hair come from all types of nationalities (:
      Kelsey and Kendra have good hair to me. I have bad hair because I don't take care of it lol

    I understand why people would get annoyed with the "are you mixed" question.
    I am fully black and my hair is similar to the twins and I get it all the time.
    But I don't take offence.
    The reason people ask is because it is mixed race girls that typically have our type of hair. Notice I said TYPICALLY, not ALWAYS.
    People are not yet used to seeing black girls with so many different types of hair textures, that's just what it is. Now that more and more black girls are embracing their beautiful natural hair it will become more common place and people will begin to realise that this hair type is not specific to one race in particular.
    Not everything needs to be taken so seriously.
    Have a blessed day everyone x

      the glamtwinz have been on UA-cam for maybe over 4 years I would be annoyed too if that's all people ask on a hair video, they can't even comment that they they enjoyed the video, they care too much about being mixed

      shayna gonzalez Aw yeah that's true. I think some people that comment may be quite new to their channel though or may have just stumbled across the video. So they're probably just curious.

    So I finally got around to refreshing my curls using this video as a guide. I didn't think it wasn't going to work but it did! I sprayed with water and used a denman brush to work the water and definition through my hair. My conditioner of choice was Shea Moisture's Smooth and Repair Rinse-Out Conditioner. My hair is back to life and you saved me from having an early/unnecessary wash day! Great tutorial!

    Hey you guys! Love your videos, I actually think I watch them excessively now. However, I was just wandering if you guys would consider doing a tutorial on your night time hair routine, for not only your natural curly hair, but also your protective styles; twist out, braid out, and bantu knots. I always just end up restyling it every night and if there is a way that i do not have to do that and can keep them refreshed, it would be great lol. I've youtubed other night time routines and to be honest, I don't trust them as much as I trust you guys. Keep the videos coming because there are tons of us here watching them. Luv yah guys!

    I dont understand the difference btw "refreshing your curls" and a "wash and go". It seems like the same amount of work goes into it, just longer to dry for the wash and go. Which is better/ more beneficial/ worth your time? Thanks for sharing!

      My wash n go only takes me 10-15 minutes, so I never "refresh". It's a much longer process and my hair never looks good because my texture is more cottony and frizz prone. I'd rather just do wngs daily, have fresh curls, and be happy.
