Could you please make a guide on how you predict what people will do in ganks and general strategies for focusing on multiple opponents at the same time? Even describing your thought process would immensly help me to fight more than one person (I mostly play duels because I’m bad at ganks)
Caden Rasey learn to gank properly. It helps a lot when it comes to anti gank. You can react to nearly everything the opponent does. Some tips i discovered while being ganked
1. External blocking is op against characters you can't block. These can mess up everything since they can make an indicator appear right before getting hit by an unblockable or a heavy. Lock on the one you can block most easily.
2. External blocking is a thing in anti ganks. You've probably seen faraam use kensei's huge hitbox to hit an opponent while locking on the one behind. Use this.
3. Be careful with your finisher attacks. Their recovery leaves you open to a free gb.
4. If you have dodge attacks, use external blocking to your advantage once again. Lock on an opponent that is further away from the one attacking you and dodge attack if you can't guess whether he'll throw the attack or not.
5. Option select is really useful if your character has a fast zone or a zone with no gb vulnerability (warden, kensei, warlord, orochi, aramusha, etc.) be careful with that. It will just drain your stam if you're not careful. It can also leave you open to a gb as most zone attacks have quite big recovery.
6. If there's a shinobi, stick to him, so that he can't poke you and gb you from 50 meters away.
7. If an opponent has a bash and you parry an attack from someone else, he might bash you.
8. Always be careful with your punishes. Most of them will leave you open to a gb or a light to interrupt you.
Faraam may never have made any guide, but you can watch him well and learn a bit. Experience still out ranks everything, but faraam doesn't make too many mistakes in ganks and anti ganks. Some characters will require prediction when facing, but analyze what they like to do and bait them. Imagine it's a duel, but your opponent can throw attacks with different timings from different directions and bash you while you parry.
