He didn't come out late he came out at 18. It just took him a little longer because he was two steps ahead and after his second album they wanted to recognize him. Then the late ninety's they wanna hear his catalog. And they playing catch up on Reasonable Doubt. So no he didn't start late people caught on slow.
One of Jay's best verses and abnormally aggressive imo- one of the handful of songs from this album that I love. Rakim killed as well; recently J Cole sampled/paid homage to the track on the Creed soundtrack.
It’s The Watcher 2 because The Watcher was originally on Dr. Dre’s 2001 album. Jay also wrote Still D.R.E. off that very album. If you really wanna get a good laugh then check out those old Blueprint 2 commercials especially the one he did for this song. It’s been sitting comfortably in my head since 2002 and it’s still hilarious today!!
Ooh,we going back to back, real quick, thanks I see someone already said it but you going to have to check out Dr Dre's watcher and you need to go back and check out change the game remix on dj clue's the professional off the dynasty album with the west coat guys and jayz

The 1st Watcher was on Dr Dre’s album 2001 where Eminem wrote Dre’s verse. Great song also.
Rakim the best to ever put words together
Jay killed this

DMX and Eminem’s first official albums came out when they were 27 years old. Jay was 26 when he dropped Reasonable Doubt.
Eminem dropped in ‘96 when he was 24. He got in the Rock Hall Of Fame cause they counted Infinite as his first.
@@fuhyou3223 well nobody really knew he was until 1999… so I’m going by that
Jay snapped on this one again-- showing the up and coming how to really do it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Jay had the best verse!
❤ All these Jigga reactions liked and subbed
Ra had the shortest and dopest verse. Master class tingz for Ra 🔥🔥🔥
Definitely got to add Dr Dre - The Chronic and 2001 albums to the reaction list. And Snoop Dogg’s debut Doggystyle produced by Dr Dre.
This song is 🔥🔥🔥

Classic
Rakim Best Mc Alive The God
You definitely have to do the knowledge on Rakim in order to graduate from “hip hop novice”. He changed the way rapping and rhyme writing were done.
CASH is the TOPIC, The OBJECT a fatter POCKET !!!!
RAKIM is my GOAT!
Yep,you need to a deep dive on Dr Dre,Big Daddy Kane, and Rakim and most rappers, singers, and almost every music genre
He was dissing Ja Rule in his verse
The list is growing 😂😂
YOU KNOW, I'M REALLY LISTENING TO HIM. YEAH...😆😆😆!!!
This is named Watcher 2 because Hov wrote Dre's bars on the original Watcher on Dre's Chronic 2001 album as well as Dre's bars on this song.
Make sure Lupe is on that future reaction list.
Can’t wait for to review it is all good a week go on this album it’s a story about his childhood friend name D-Haven it’s all about. U r going to love it.
