    This somewhat true but I wouldn’t sell yourself short. Get out and experiment with other types of music. That’s the beauty of it.

      yes, same for listening to music. I think when you listen to more diverse music you widen your sound pallette and will automatically make more unique music since you have diverse influences on your artistic vision

      I agree. The main reason Kanye is relevant today is because he evolved his sound. Imagine if he still produced the same chipmunk style samples today.

      He definitely not spreading himself thin. In the construction industry plumbing and roofing is considered construction but a plumber sticks to what he knows and a roofer sticks to what he knows . Ya'll just wanna keep making trap on fl studio. ay took his sound and made r&b usher, club , all within his own wheelhouse.

    at first you suck, but the better you get the more you try to show off, but then you get so good you can do pretty much anything. at that point it's not about what you *can* do but what you *CHOOSE* to do
    that is called discipline as a musician
