Welcome to my Alpha (Lucia: Crimson Abyss) guide - and there are lots of Alpha guides out there. However, there are a lot of things that is being left out, and so I wanted to talk about them. In the video, I talk about what I think is the optimal set up for Alpha, including memory and team compositions, orb management, and play style. Hopefully, this video will teach you how to better play Alpha.
I am playing Punishing: Gray Raven (战双帕弥什) on the APAC server, on MuMu CN Emulator, Nougat 64-bit.

Weapon: sakura
Slot 1: weapon attack +15%
Slot 2: +1 orb switch in, 3 same orbs every 45 secs
Slot 3: movement speed increase and 10% more dmg in matrix.
Fredrick set 3-6
Slot 1: +15% attack +15% Crit
Slot 2: core passive level
Barton/Patton 3-6
Slot 1: +15% attack +15% crit
Slot 2: core passive level
@@nox22119 dont even think about rerolling for resonance, it's a sink that is way too deep unless you are really really have nothing else you want to do
@@Pinky_Piie Thanks for the reply do you know how high the chance of actually getting this resonance effect or how many random resonance effects exist in the rng pool?
@@nox22119 well it chooses randomly from 6 different ones so you might not end up getting the best ones for a while, for example it took me 20 rerolls on just one memory to get the correct resonance so it could take you quite some time to get the right ones on each memory
thank you very much man for a new player into PGR like myself this type of video really helps out as to get a feeling where to start farming for what gear and i love that your including an explanation to an 5* alternative in the mean time most other guides just say ou put this 6* set its BIS like expecting everyone to have it already this is really more helpful for me
I'm still learning a lot in pgr being still less than a week into the game. I've only learned one new thing from all this but its a huge one(that's what she said).
I assumed the max orbs you can get at a time is only 8 since that's what you immediately notice in your screen compared to the less apparent "x/16" on its bottom right corner. If it was explained in the tutorial, I skimmed through most of it...
so anyway, now I'll keep spamming basic atks until I reach 16 orbs total before going into blade will with blue buffs so I can spam twice as many blade waves than I usually did.

Here is my tips if you want use alpha , if you have 3 / 1 red orb , try use it and use evade button after the animation start it will save your time if you want full dps , cause when the timing is right you will still hit the enemy with red orb but short animation , just practice if you want to know the perfect timing

Something i noticed after doing Alpha's interlude, Ima put a spoiler just incase anyone wants do it on their own but
Alpha and the Lucia we know now reminds me of Megaman Zero and Omega, where Omega is the original Zero and the Zero we play as is just a copy. The only difference is that Alpha isn't hell-bent on gaining power like Omega lmao. Pretty cool comparison i made for myself. If there are any Megaman Zero fans who see, what's up lol.
Oh hell yeah i played those games and had a blast lol. This lucia and alpha situation also reminds me of the game Tales of the Abyss where the mc is the clone of a young adult aristocrat Luke fon Fabre(the clone mc) and Asch(the real Luke)
Pulled alpha on the other banner with 9 single pulls after 6th reroll lmao, that banner on the right is made for reroll XD, I want her sooo bad, now I'm 15/30 on her weapon banner
How to play Alpha *_without_* STAMINA
I ended up accidentally pulling on the banner for the 100 pull guarantee, but only had one 10 pull. Luckily I got lucky and got Alpha on the 4th of the 10. :panik:
it has higher rate so its worth pulling on it. i pulled on that as well fk the 60 pull banner
one question from the last video: Bianca S, Rosseta and Raven will be at the begginers banner pool on global right ? if yes, so i can save the tickets that we can get weekly from the bounties missions and only use until their release ( i know it would took a lot of time until they come) but doing this its gonna save me a lot of bc, what do you think? besides them i want QU, 2B and A2
you'll more than likely not get S ranks outside of their debut banner or when their event banner comes around again.

Did 3 multi's then swapped to single pulls just in case. Got her on pull 31, so I spent the BC I saved to get her Sakura. Now to farm the event for Patton memories (and finally sit down and finish memory rescue for a second Darwin).
U got her 40 pulls

I have a question about 2 six stars weapons and the difference in DPS they have, So to make the history short i pull the Six star Lotus berserker instead of the new Six star Sakura, so i have the question about how much is the DPS defference between the 2 weapons.
I think the difference is remarkable, if you don't use Lotus berserker for Lucia Lotus and planning/ have enough summon to get Sakura weapon. Go for it, Lotus berserker can be used for resonance and it is worth it
Pity the alpha and got her weapon in 1st multi. I now have darwin 1,4 atm but after maxing darwin 2 going to switch and rest of patton
I can't really dodge well but there's no problems because i used Kamui as a main character after choosing him in the selector and got the 6* weapon, he can just slam the enemies while ignoring the incoming damages. And when i use Alpha I'm like "wth she's so weak, she died so easily" 😂😂😂😂
well she is glass cannon. she very squishy but her dmg hit like truck 😆
Yeah it will be hard for me to get used to her 😅, always mess up with the dodge timing, and doing unnecessary evasion every time there's incoming attack alarm. That's why i love using kamui as a main because he will still stand even he takes a lot of damage 😂😂😂
Damn everyone I know is hitting pity. I was too lucky to get her in 15 singles but I had to hit pity on weapon banner. Congrats laciel.

PSA: I just tested it and I'm not sure if this is a bug but 3-pinging BLUE when you DONT have the 3 blue ping buff will NOT give you the 20% damage buff. At 8:50 of the video, the captions say the move is to 3 blue orb ping, just wanted to let people know that whether its intended or a bug, Alpha doesnt get the 20% damage buff if you use 3 blue pings to trigger blade will. It seems the only way to get the damage buff is to 3ping blue then instantly trigger another 3ping
A bit late, but that's already correct. The 2nd 3-ping is used to enter blade will. You could say you "waste" the 2nd 3-ping.
yes you are right, sorry for that mistake. so the best you can do if you have fog is ping 1 or 2 blue orbs, then 3 ping to go into blade will with at least some blue orb effect
Blue orb hey Lacieyl can you make a memory resonance guide like what resonance are good and what are bad ones if there are any and what certain characters prefer to have as resonance effect.

In what level can we activate resonance? Sorry I m new
@@robertovega6113 you can activate it at any level you just need an extra copy of the same memory to resonance it for example if you want to resonance Darwin you just need another Darwin to feed into it so to max out a single memory resonance you at least need 3pcs of it and to completely max out all slots you need 18 memories.
I got the A Kamui to SS from doing summons. Did I get lucky or is he not a good character to invest since Nanami could go with Alpha? I only have Nanami to A.
It depends. If you get used to his playstyle, one of the best burst damage in game.

you can do what you want :O if you dont feel like rerolling, you can just just not roll. if you wanna min max, then reroll.

The 4 piece bonus 20% atk increase on da vinci is only applied to the construct da Vinci is equipped to isn't it. If it was to all constructs it would say at of all construct is increased by 20%

Yes. We have 2 more months until S Bianca. We can get 4000+ BCs from Weeklies and Dailies every single month. Thats 8000+ in 2 months. If u have 7k, add that 8k later, and you'll have a total of 15k. Perfect for S Bianca Pity. Dude you're so lucky.
If you pulled her on the 60 pity and got her on 30 pull. Then you'd have been more lucky. Since the pity gets carried on til next banner, you might have got S Bianca pity on the 30th pull again.

depends if you f2p or monthly. monthly i'd try for the weapon (if you took less than 60 for alpha)

Farming any specific 4-set of 6* memories does not remotely take an exorbitant amount of time and is misinformation that really needs to stop being spread.
Idk if I'm just lucky, but I do get 5 and 6* fairly well frequentky wise.
i mean statistically speaking, it does, right? at a 17% rate ish, you're expected to get 1 every 6 to 8 runs, depending on luck. on top of that, you're fighting everything else in the pool. if we then add in the recycle systems and war zone, it's actually a lot better, but it's still a massive stamina sink/time gated. idk how fast you'll be able to get your frederick set
@@Lace I had it and plenty of extras to resonate the entire set before Alpha even came out - and that was without even recycling or spending my warzone currency. The problem I see from most people is that they're being misled and made to use their stamina inefficiently by a lot of content creators.
I don't mean that as a personal shot and I also think all the CCs mean well and aren't misleading people purposefully or anything. Most of ya'll have just been way off the mark with some of your stamina-spending/grind target advice, chasing instant-gratification over what's most efficient.
Edit: Also 17% is better than 1/6 on average, more like between 1/5 and 1/6. There's a pity at 8 runs at worst, which is probably where you're getting the number 8 from.
