Out of all the content creators who I have watched play throughs of this game you are the best. I love how you talk through each step when you are strategizing. It really cements the rules in my mind. I feel at this time I could just sit down with this game and start playing without going over the rules. I just now invested in this game and hope I will get my copy of undertow by the end of the week. Thanks for the too many bones series.
Good idea to kick that Griffin while it's seeing stars. Does the Manticore have adjacency effects before you ping damage off it? If not, you could also consider starting in Lane 2, and using just the one dex to move up, (versus two later), which would max your rolls across both turns. Maybe consider saving toxins for your first attack on the manticore? Two rounds of straight attacks vs. the Griffin should take care of its five health easy (with defense peppered in for chances at bones or shielding to prep for Manty's rage hits)...then you HAMMER on the manticore with toxins assisting to speed up its demise (especially since it activates after you). Trying to think this through: with your innate, the poison damage per round is effectively reduced to 1 (from 2), with the first round ignored since Manty activates after you. That's assuming it takes a full two rounds to wreck the Griffin's day (i.e. you don't luck out with a 2-2-1 attack in round 1), then you'd engage Manty with 4 health remaining...which feels dicey (HA!) vs. that 2 die Rage attack, but you'll still have your healing special die to help. Okay, I'm going to stop writing out every fool thought and consideration that goes through my head, and just look forward to watching the next round. Thanks again for the playthrough vids!
+Matthew Virkler This is amazing! Now that's some serious feedback. Great stuff and I will certainly consider your thoughts. Seems to mesh well with my game plan but we'll see. :D
I really looked into this game before ordering (should be here next week) and it blows my mind how many naysayers complained about lack of theme... Seems to me the theme is deeply engrained in every aspect of play. Also nice to see a company who place component quality as such a priority.
Hey Thomas! Too Many Bones has been a fav of mine since its initial launch. It’s a gem and is overlooked at times. The solo community is very much for it though. It’s fantastic at all player counts and the theme is ingrained. Component quality is top notch and the customer service is the best. I had Too Many Bones in my top ten in the prior year but not until this year did it make it to #1. It’s awesome! Hope you enjoy it :)

Thanks for following up on that! :)

Yeah, get rid of the Griffin before he starts flying and he signals in another Baddie

What kind of cloth do you have on your table? Looks nice and clean
+Joost Nauw Hey Joost! It’s just a black table cloth. Nothing too fancy, but I keep it clean! Cheers

we you play in "campaing mode", can you keep you trained Dice for next games ? how does it work ?
Hey David! This is something I hope to explore during the Showcase. Lots to cover. See you then!
So, how do u choose which character is the strongest or weakest?
Hey Istvan, it would be based on HP. If there is a tie than the player chooses!
