Here in United States food and rides at fairs and carnivals can cost alot of money. Is it the same in Europe?
Andy Mann What is a lot of money. 5 euro for the big roller coaster with 2 loops. Is about 4 dollar?
Thank you for the reply. Los Angeles county fair rides start at $4 dollars for kids rides and up to$6 dollars for big rides on weekends. Cheaper on weekdays.

Do any rides at the big fairs in Germany or Netherlands not allow single riders? I'm planning a trip to Germany and Netherlands to go to some of these big fairs, but I'll be by myself and I'm wondering what I won't be allowed to ride?
J Dood Why you from the UK? And is it there useal to stop single riders? Because you van ofcourse ride single here
***** I ask because I'm from the USA and there are some rides that don't allow single riders, such as the Chance Zipper, Zamperla Power Surge, Tivoli Orbiter, Larson Hi-Roller, Chance Skydiver, A.R.M. Quasar, portable log rides (similar to Wildwasser), even ferris wheels! It's really stupid!
J Dood It is! First time I hear this! Why the reason the dont accept single riders. Safety?! But it's a long trip to here then! :)
***** I don't really know why. I don't think safety is the reason, the rides are safe with single riders. It's just another stupid thing among many stupid things in America, like our very expensive healthcare system and all the racism. Just another annoyance!
