This was actually a good video on how to do this. The showing of step by step and problems and solutions was perfect.

Great job with the repairs Tim 🙂👍 Good thinking on the PVC to drive the sleeve. I'm glad you could still make some progress in the cold weather. Take care and happy wrenching 🔧🔩

Thanks! I keep a lot of bits and pieces around for situations like this where I need to cobble a part or tool together. It's probably a gateway to hoarding if left unchecked🤨 I'm fortunate to have a heated workshop to get through my winter projects.

So the Bobcat is essentially a STEM project - looking forward to the next lesson

Very impressive! Thanks for sharing, lots of great tips there. I replaced the left rear outer and inner bearings and seal on my bobcat 743 last fall, was almost the same exact design as your machine. It was very hard for me, wish I had seen this video first.

Thanks. I know they switched things up just one generation after ours to where you could replace seals without removing the entire axle. The biggest problem I've run into working on my Bobcat is the tight quarters. It seems every job I do requires getting into areas I can barely reach and am working blind most of the time.

I used a SKF speedi sleeve 99226. It's $42 on Amazon or $15 on ebay. I bought mine from ebay seller militarysurplusparts and I see they currently have them listed. Just search ebay using the brand and part number I listed and it should be the first one listed in your results. Good luck on your repair. By the way, mine is still holding up great with no leaks after 7 months in service.

@@TheToolmanTim thank u kind sir. I'm going to have to get a new axle I'm afraid. I just got a 632 and the bearings were non existence and chewed the axle up

Do you guys have any link for the blueprint/drawing of the machine at 1:27?

That picture is from my Bobcat service manual. Search for Bobcat 530 Service Manual on Google and you should find some out there. I purchased mine as a PDF on ebay for about $20. It looks like the guy I got mine from is no longer selling it, but you might find others.
